I was with Nettalk for years until most recently after the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a service rep named Norman. I was interested in changing my number and purchased a new one which was offered as available and found out that it wasn't with no explanation whatsoever. I also tried to renew my service for the second year in a row with Visa which the company states clearly that it is a valid method payment but for the second year in a row their servers do not accept it as stated. After reporting this it was suggested that I use paypal and I told Norman that I am not comfortable using paypal and would like to use Visa which they clearly state they accept. He declared that their system could not accept for some reason but year after year they still keep it on as an option knowing this and misleading people. I expressed my concerns about what was happening which he suggested he was reporting to their 'concerned' department who never did respond at all which was quite shocking. I had approximately 30 email exchanges with him and the issues still never resolved. I requested the opportunity to speak with someone else and the request was ignored. I also tried messaging the owner and the email was highjacked by Norman and I was yet again forced to speak with this fellow who was providing the worst customer service experience I ever had. After deciding that it would be best to find another provider, Norman place a recorded message on my phone number and anyone that calls hears a message that stated "High Alert, this number has been suspended and for your own safety do not call this number". The caller at that point is asked to leave them a message with the reason they are calling. I assume the recording is in retalliation for speaking up since I was a paying customer with no issues other than trying to get proper customer service. I have requested via email that the recording be removed from the number I was subscribed to which is misleading.
