I had purchased a 2016 Dodge Challenger with gap insurance from this dealer on July 26,2021. I traded the vehicle on March 11, 2024 at a different dealership and I contacted Miami Lakes Automall and advised I traded vehicle in and needed to cancel gap insurance they sent me an email and advise me to submit proof of trade in and proof of payoff to cancel policy so I submitted all the information they needed. The Cancellation was processed and I was advised it will *********** to 8 weeks to receive refund this was done back on April 29,2024. Now Im being advised that finance company ************** is the one who sends it, I contacted **** and they advised me the gap insurance company Gap Addendum is the one who sends refund so I contacted Gap Addendum and they advised me they sent it to Miami Lakes Automall and that they are the ones who are supposed to refund me back. They are taking me in circles with no answer. I call the financing department and no one ever answers. I have cancelled more than one gap insurance and I have always received refund from the dealership. I would really appreciate it immensely if you can assist me with this matter. Thank you in advance. ********************************

I purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in August of 2023. As a part of the purchase, I was told that I would receive a $7500 tax credit. In the process of filing my taxes, I discovered that my vehicle does not qualify for the tax credit. I reached out to my sales person and the sales manager to determine what was the problem. The sales restated that the tax credit was valid. After several calls, I went to the dealership the speak with ********* the ** of the Mitsubishi dealer. I left my card an requested a call. After not receiving a call, I called again and got *********. He said he would review the case and get back with me. ********* never got back with me.After months of frustration, I asked to speak to the owner of the business. I was given the name, ***************** and went to the address given. The address given has restricted access. I left ***************** a message and spoke with someone from the office when they came out to check the mail.At the end of the day, no one has addressed my issue. It turns out that my vehicle needed to be manufactured in ********** to receive the tax credit along with paper work being filed with the *** at the time of purchase. My vehicle was manufactured in *****.

***************** of Miami Lakes Automall reached out to ************************* and apologized for the confusion. ****************;also advised **********;that in order to get the tax credit he has to have a leased vehicle and is financing.

I am rejecting this response because:

My discussion from the beginning was regarding a federal tax deduction.  Attached are screen shots of an exchange I had with the sales manager ******, back in March where he directed me to a website that actually further confirmed my objection.

My vehicle is disqualified from the federal tax deduction because it was not manufactured in **************  This tax deduction never should have been a part of the sales process.

When I spoke with *************************** he introduced the Mitsubishi rebate which was never a part of the transaction discussed.  This has caused an impasse.

Prior to the introduction of the Mitsubishi rebate, I was offered, " two complimentary oil changes and tire rotations at our dealership and a free one time full tank of gas".   I want to figure the $7500 from the deduction to be accounted for.

    Sincerely,

    *************************

*************************** of Miami Lakes Automall has spoken directly with ************************* and directed him to Mitsubishi to address concerns of the tax credit. ************************* has stated that he will continue to do business with Miami Lakes Automall.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/03/2024

I spoke with ***************************.  He made a pivot.  The conversation since the purchase was about a federal tax credit.  The sales manager even sent me a link to a site regarding the federal tax deduction.  This was never described as a function of a Mitsubishi discount until this discrepancy was escalated to the BBB.

I did not state that I would do business with Miami Lakes Auto Mall again.

This case is very simple.  Miami Lakes Auto Mall's Mitsubishi sales and finance **** supplied me with the wrong information.  Now, they are trying to pivot and say it was a Mitsubishi discount.  Rather than take responsibility and make me whole, they would rather present a false narrative.

Unfortunately my son had an accident where the car was deamed a total loss on June 24, 2024. 3/16/24, I visited Miami Lakes Automall (refrenced further as MLA) to lease a vehicle, as my current lease was nearing its expiration. During the transaction, I leased a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was presented with all the payoff numbers for my previous lease. Based on these numbers and the calculations for the new lease, I proceeded with the deal, which included paying off my previous lease. Following the transaction, I received an alert from Experian, notifying me of a late payment on my credit from my Chrysler, my previous lessor. Upon contacting Chrysler, I was informed that the delay in paying off my old lease was due to MLA's negligence. This delay resulted in a negative impact on my credit score. Chrysler further informed me that an "At Fault" letter from MLA would be required to remove the late payment from my credit report. Chrysler revealed that the payoff amount provided to MLA for my previous lease was incorrect, leading to an overpayment. Chrysler's assured I would receive a refund of $1,488.20, which never arrived. I contacted Chrysler again, only to discover that MLA had received the refund and failed to adjust my lease contract or provide me with the refund and, consequently, I received another late payment on my credit report. Now I have a total of two late payments, further damaging my credit score. Despite my numerous attempts to contact MLA to address these issues, I have received no response. The negative impact on my credit score of 111 points could not have occurred at a worse time, as my home insurance is up for renewal. The diminished credit score has led to a substantial increase of $400 in my monthly insurance payment. It is evident that MLA's actions have caused me significant financial distress and harm. I demand that MLA issues the "At Fault Letter" to Chrysler Capital and provides me with the refund owed to me promptly. Failure to do so will leave me with no choice but to seek legal recourse to recover the damages incurred.

I bought a truck from the Miami lakes auto mall Chevrolet dealership. They sales person put my old license plate on my new truck, 3 days later I called him and said you did not give me any Registration for this new truck he said o Im sorry and you need a temporary license plate on that truck due to its size. I live over 100 miles away he asked me to come in to put the temp tag on. I said so Im supposed to drive this truck over 100 miles so you can put the temp tag on he said yes. I ended up talking him into sending in the mail. Now my temp tag is expired. I have called and left multiple voicemails for the sales department, the financing department also have send multiple emails for over a week now and nobody will call me/ email me back. Im now having to drive my 1 year daughter to daycare then myself to work everyday with no registration for this truck and an expired temporary tag. I contacted the *** they said that there is no temporary registration/ temporary tag connected to my name and there has not been one recently in my name. I keep trying to reach out to them everyday and will keep trying because Im not willing to drive over 100 miles to the dealership to ask them if they can give me my license plate. Also the trade in for the truck happened April 5th 2024 my payment for the truck I traded in was not due until April 15 2024 the last day of April I got an email saying I was delinquent on my payment. I called the bank and they said the dealer paid off the truck on April 22nd 2024 witch ended up hitting my credit as a late payment.

This company is refusing to provide a bill of sale for my car that was purchased on July 2020. We all know Most lawyers, accountants and bookkeeping services recommend keeping original documents for at least seven years. As a rule of thumb, seven years is sufficient time for defending tax audits, lawsuits and potential claims. The dealership people is being rude and uncooperative with this request, denying to provide the paperwork requested by phone, email and also personally.

When I bought my used 2018 Chevrolet Equinox from Chevrolet Miami lakes auto mall November 2023, I asked about the warranty extension, I asked about the factory warranty, as it would be good to have that warranty because there is a Chevrolet dealer close to where I live, but the person responsible for the vehicle purchase contract issued a warranty that did not It was from the factory, and at the time of purchase they also did not issue the warranty contract to me, using bad faith. When I went to the dealer near my house, I discovered that it was not a Chevrolet warranty but another warranty company. I went back to the Chevrolet dealer again asking to cancel the warranty purchase because it was not what was agreed. I went through the warranty cancellation procedure and waited for a response. They never told me anything about the cancellation, and so I called the warranty company, and they told me that the refund had already been paid to the Chevrolet dealer and that they were responsible for refunding the warranty purchase, but they never told me anything. I had to go back to the Chevrolet dealer, 25 miles round trip which is 50 miles from where I live to ask why they still haven't refunded the amount I paid for the warranty. I spoke to someone from the financing department, and she told me that she would make the refund in no more than two weeks and asked if I wanted it sent via email or could I collect the check from them, she said that she would collect the check in person, so the person told me they would call me when they were ready. So, nothing till today 03/25/2024, I called twice and left a message, they still haven't returned my call. Because I'm already tired of traveling 25 miles round trip which is 50 miles in total and not getting any answers from them, always excuses that they still don't have the check ready and the refund amount is $3,095.64.Because of this problem, I have already been to Chevrolet Miami auto mall 4 times with no result.

I am rejecting this response because:

They lied, I received the check on 03/27/2024, 3 days later I filed a complaint against them, not when they said January 2024
Here is the day I deposited. The same day I received the check. Because they lied, if I had received it in January I wouldn't have had to go through this stress.

They sent the check the same day the complaint was made. After they get notified by the BBB.

Never again doing business with them.

I rarely take the time to make complaints and file reviews, but I feel its important for you to know the lack of service the service department is providing. It all goes back to the first car I purchased at Miami Lakes Auto Mall, 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the ****************** The first time I took the car in for oil change and tire rotation, I found the tires were not rotated. One of the tires had a plug from a flat and I noticed they were not rotated. I asked the service advisor about it, and he assured me that they were. I laughed it off, proved him wrong, and left. The second time I went, I marked the tires, and again, the tires were not rotated. I received the car back, I showed the service advisor, and again, left the service department, knowing I was going to trade the car in soon, and did not have the time to wait. The third time, I told the service advisor beforehand and the oil was changed and tires rotated. In my opinion, thats considered stealing from the customer and or jeep.

During the purchase of my vehicle I was informed that there is a Market Value Adjustment on the price of my vehicle. That added $5000 to the ***** Bringing its currently value from $52000 to $58000. Considering that it was a normal thing to see during the pandemic due to the lack of cars, I fully trusted and understood it. However they did not mention the fact that its no longer the case. And now I found out that the reason the $8000+ in incentives that were provided during my purchase, are there because theres a surplus of these cars available that are NOT selling. On top of that, they included a wheel lock package for the car that was not installed. And anti theft items I didnt ask for TRACEABLE THEFT PROTECTION PROGRAM skyline GPS STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY PROGRAM . Nor have I given information about these items. The total value of all this of $6896, I want ALL of this removed from my loan.
