I contracted with VIP Home Improvement Specialists, Inc. on July 13, 2021, for the installation of impact windows and doors because of their A+ rating on the BBB website. I was told that my installation would be completed in approximately four months; it has been eight. The company never called to inform me my installation would be delayed. I had to continually call them for new installation dates which would past without any updates from them. Since there has been a delay in getting the windows and doors due to the pandemic, etc., per VIP Home Improvement Specialists, Inc., I would think they would contact the window manufacturer for updates and inform me as to the status of the installation. Their lack of communication is unacceptable. Last month I called and asked to speak with the owner. She returned my call the following day and said I needed to contact the window manufacturer, if I wanted my deposit back. My contract / deposit of $9,550.00 was with VIP Home Improvement Specialists, Inc.; not the window manufacturer. If VIP Home Improvement Specialists, Inc. has not received the merchandise, they should contact the window manufacturer for a refund and return my deposit in the amount of $9,550.00. If the merchandise has been received, I would like for my windows and doors to be installed by the end of the month.
