      LFCU sells your information to life insurance company’s and others company’s with out permission. I just spoke to a representative who indicated this is automatics when you open an account.

      being a valued member of Launch. As a credit union, our goal is to offer
      products and services that could potentially enhance the financial security of
      our members. Sometimes, we may need to partner with other companies in order to
      deliver these products/services.


      At account opening, each member
      is given a copy of our privacy policy. Account service and additional product
      marketing offerings are explained in detail within our privacy notice and our members are
      given the opportunity to opt-out of certain items. As stated on the privacy
      notice, information sharing can begin within 30 days after account opening if
      you do not opt-out. If you wish to opt-out of additional marketing, please call
      us at 321-455-9400 or 800-662-5257; our menu will prompt you through your
      choice(s).

      I sent $400 through ****** via 'friends and family' for a deposit at the Gold Rock campground in New Smyrna FL. This was because the email on the official campground website replied to me and told me to do as such. Later it was determined someone had unauthorized access to that email and scammed me for the $400. ****** says they cannot refund the money as it was sent with Friends and Family, and that if I can get my bank to reverse the charge then ****** will allow it. I sent a message to Launch CU before the $400 was removed from my account to make sure it doesn't go through, but nothing was done and it did go through. Now Launch is simply refusing to reverse the $400 charge.

      If the member would like to sign a Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit affidavit, stating that the debit was not authorized, we can return the debit to ****** and give the member provisional credit.

      I went to the branch today before I received this response. The representative was very nice and understanding.
