      *** did not pay the trade in of a vehicle, now receiving invoices/letters stating I am responsible for the late payments. I have a contract when I purchased a new vehicle from *** stating they had paid off the loan, Interest has occurred from the time of the trade in pay off and now the vehicle loan amount is more then stated on contract. This occurred on 05/30/2025

      Tuesday November 19th My wife and I agreed to purchase a vehicle from Tasca GMC in Melbourne *******. I provided a down payment of $5000, and my wife and I both signed a buyers order for the vehicle. After waiting for three hours we requested to know what our interest rate was, three separate times. The finance manager then requested paystubs needed to finalize the loan. We were never told the interest rate. We then requested the buyers order so that we could take it to our bank, retrieve the remaining down payment and secure our own financing from our credit union. We were told the deal was predicated on us financing at the dealership and that we could not buy the car unless we financed with the dealership. We would like to be able to buy the vehicle at the amount that we agreed on whether we finance at the dealership or not.

      Horrible service. I called them on Thursday (6-27) morning to schedule a drop-off on Friday (6-28) for my vehicle that had it's check engine light pop up. That afternoon, my car wouldn't even start, so I had to have it towed to the location and dropped off. As it was close to closing, I called and let the service department know that my vehicle would be there that night, towed, and not dropped in the morning. On Friday morning, I call them explaining my car had been towed there the night before and I wanted to make sure they had the car and asked for an update. ******, assured me repeatedly that they had my vehicle, ***** was my service tech, and she would have him call me ASAP with an update. 6 hours later and I've heard nothing. I call them, once again the one making the contact, and am told, by ****** once again, that she doesn't even know if they have my car. When I point out she literally was the one that assured me multiple times she did, she stated that all she did in actuality was look at the fact that I had scheduled an appointment. I tell her I am about to go into a doctors appointment, have no car or knowledge of where my car is now, and that it's completely unacceptable. I get a call from the service manager, ***, right after that says they have my car, but not my keys, and then starts blaming me and the tow truck driver for their failures and lies up to this point in time. He then repeatedly calls while I'm in the doctors appointment I'd already informed them of, refuses to answer my returned call and never returns my voicemail. All said and done, I spent what will be an over $400 bill for a rental (not even invoiced yet), and then was charged about $490 for what was simply a dead battery (which I figured and told them when I scheduled the appointment), and got a whopping $120 credit off my bill for what they still refuse to admit was their incredibly masterful incompetence. I wanted them to cover the 3 rental days they are responsible for. They did 2.

      Went to get a new battery. Told them mine was 6 years and needed to be replaced . They said ok and checked it - they said they have to analyze the battery to see if it was dead. I really didn't need that. We sat and waited til they put the battery in. It cost 375$ for a battery change. I got to thinking about it and thought how crazy it was. *** ****** in cocoa's was a place I called and they said it was 170$ for the battery and that's it. I was charged more than 175$ for putting the battery in. I called *** ****** ********** in Titusville and the service manager would charge 50$ to change the battery. I told this company I could've gotten it done cheaper and he said "well i gotta pay my people' plus check oil and all of that. I'll never go back there and anybody I know, I'll enlighten them about this.

      Hello,

      In response to Mr. ******. The first line item is the concern of the vehicle slow to crank please check and advise.This would include and diagnotic charge $159.95. Once the technician diagnosed the vehicle we determinded it in fact needed a battery. Our charge to install the battery is $59.95 plus the price of the battery NOT including any diagnostic charge. In Mr. ***** case he was charged $139.93 for labor not $219.90 ( $79.97) savings the FACTORY battery $204.17 florida battery tax, sales tax and shop charges. The attached PDF shows Mr. ***** signed for the diagnostic fee prior to the vehicle being inspected and approved the repairs
