I purchased several thousand feet of hardwood floor from Menards in 2021 for approximately $15,000. After it was installed, it began buckling. I sent in pictures to the Menards customer service team, who referred me to ********************-**********************, the manufacturer. After initially being told by the customer service manager that it is impossible for their product to have a defect, I replied and sent pictures showing that certain pieces of their wood floor (specifically the dark pieces) were smaller than other pieces, and when the floor naturally expanded and contracted, the dark pieces of wood would begin buckling because they were not able to fully connect with larger pieces (I have attached pictures that show the size difference). The customer service rep then told me to ship him a box so he could inspect it himself. After spending $73.65 to ship a full box and weeks of not getting a response, I finally received a response telling me they are staying with their original denial - however, no reason was given. I then asked for an explanation about the darker wood not being manufactured correctly, which I proved with pictures and sending a unopened box, but have not received a response. I would like a full refund of the wood I purchased, as well as a reimbursement for the shipping of the box.
