1 starI worked with an employee at Margate CDJR from October 2024 until January 2025 to cancel a Smart Lease warranty on a returned Jeep Wrangler. The dealership charged me for the warranty but the warranty company has no record of the dealership initiating the warranty. The employee is no longer with the company. I have emailed the only contact I have to continue work on this but the contact wont reply. I have also called several times and keep getting forwarded to a voicemail with no greeting. No one returns my calls. I have even sent an email via the BBB contact with no reply.Review fromMarvin S

1 star**** to dealership to purchase a new 2024 Grand Cherokee. After 4 hours the manager and I agreed on a deal. Shortly thereafter the manager said they were going to lose too much money and tried to shake me down for more. Highly disappointing and questionable behavior. I have tried to reach out to ownership, but no response. Seem to value money over honor. Pretty unprofessional way to deal with someone, especially during the holiday season. 1 starI purchased a 2025 Ram 1500 Limited 2 weeks ago. But it has been in the shop since the day after I brought it home.I only purchased it because the salesman, Rey, was amazing and the Margate dealership had the vehicle I was looking for. The manager, **** *******, was VERY disrespectful and directly LIED on at least 2 occasions during the transaction. He has since ghosted me with the problems I have reported.I had to take my new Ram to another dealer for service (same owner as Margate). They informed me that the Margate dealership was negligent in delivering me the truck in "ship mode" or "dealer mode" before cycling it to "customer mode" which led to over a dozen electrical systems failing sporadically, such as the door locks, seat controls, charging ports, *******, they are working with Chrysler to fix the main issue. They have attempted over 3 times thus far. It has been 2 weeks and they still cannot repair. Margate should have quality controlled this vehicle before selling it. Now they are going to be responsible for the Florida Lemon Law replacement.Guess what... I am being ghosted by them to the point now that I am writing this review.Shame on the Margate dealership. I am stuck in a rental with no end in sight when I was supposed to be in my new vehicle.Margate Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

1 starLook over your cars and trucks before buying5months ago I bought a 2024 Ram 3500 my 8yr old son noticed that the handle on back door was silver and all other door handles are black so when I got home I looked at door to find a silver handle, looked at vin#etched into glass and it didnt even match the vin # for the truck also the door dont line up correctly and there is a dent on the inner door frame, now what is funny is we went to buy a charcoal gray and left with a black one because the detail guy crash the charcoal grey one taking it to the back to get detailed , bet they fixed and sold as new went to dealer at 9am asked for a manager they said he walked out to the back give him like 15min, 955am still no manager so we asked for the ** well he isnt here yet so lady came over at 1045 am and said the ** is here and he will be out in a min well never came out they sent the used car manager to come talk to us, thats how they treat there customers I guess so guy took some photos and said we will get back to you someone will call you well we didnt leave we sat in parking lot for an hour until are car salesman came out and said we will give you a new truck but that didnt happen as they wanted to do a whole new loan and my credit wasnt where it was when I bought the truck so they said they would fix the issues but havent heard anything from them and its been almost 2months, and now the transmission when you put from drive to reverse its like boom and wants to just go not a smooth shift , had to move my 5th wheel and it shifts like c*** when in tow mode .. Radio and ac all in one 12 in screen drive down the road and boom it switches from ac to heat and you have no control over it unless you stop and turn truck off and the start again.. stuck with a $74,000 truck that was supposed to be newReview fromGLEN O

1 starLast Saturday on the 21st I want to buy a new vehicle I went to Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram of Margate. I had a schedule appointment with the sales person and looked at it 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was raining that day. After I purchase the jeep I was driving home and 15 minutes later I notice theres a chip in the windshield. I called the sales person and they got back to me and they told me that they were arrange someone to fix the windshield. On the 25th the front bumper fell off. After discussing this with many different managers they told me on Thursday that I could bring it in on October 2 to get everything fixed. but they end up calling me on the 27th Friday and told me that they would not work on the car. So the bottom line they got $26,000 plus my old car. I will be 70 in a few weeks and was planning on retiring and driving up to ****** to see my daughter well looks like Im stuck here now. Behind that front bumper look like it got hit pretty hard Per the service manager. Wonder if the airbag still works thats why Im a little worried about driving even to go to the store to get milk.Review fromSantravia B

1 starI purchased a vehicle with my son in 4/24 from Arrigo Dodge they sent me a refund check of $217.00 in May 2024. When I received the check it was already expired so I have been working since June 2024 to get a replacement check. I initially contacted talking with Finance Director ********************* who advised that I send over an email with a copy of the check that was done on 6/8/24 after no response I visited the location with my son on 6/22/24. ****** advise he would forward to the appropriate department and I should receive an replacement check within a week.After not receiving a check within the a week extremely disappointed I called on 7/5/24 and spoke with the Receptionist asked for the General Manger she couldn't give me a name but advised she would have them to call me the next business day. While waiting I went to yelp and wrote a review about my experience and some replied telling me to reach out to ****** which I did no response . On 7/8/24 ***** from Arrigo Dodge gave me call regarding the check issue and advised she attempt to correct the issue send out an email which included ******, *********************** and Margate Billing since that email was set out up until this date I haven't received anything. I have reached out twice on the same email thread with no update. I cannot express the disappointment and wasted time, irresponsible nature of this organization. This is regarding DL#***** I would never deal with this dealership or advise any other person that I came in contact with, such a simple task and more than 7 people have been involved and absolutely nothing has been resolved.Review fromAlfonso A

1 starSeller and manager changed the car last minute (after 3 hours dealing the 3.6L car) saying is same car as the one I was dealing and saying the only one difference is that its hybrid. I trust them, and at the end, instead of buying a 3.6L jeep I ended up with a 2.0L jeep just because I trusted the seller and the manager. 1 starBE AWARE!!! BE CAREFUL CUSTOMERS!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!I bought a truck for my business in 2022, and the financial manager convinced me to buy the *** service for that truck and I was told by him that the best way to do it was doing everything under my personal name, not including my company and also, he mentioned that hes son was doing the same thing and I wouldnt have any problem. I bought the extended warranty and it was denied when I need it to fix my truck. I bought a tire plan that was also denied when I tried to used it. My truck got involved in an accident, with a total loss, and now I have to pay over $15.000 to the financial company because my *** insurance will not cover the difference, and I want the dealer to be responsible for the debt, since they know from the first step of buying my truck that was for my business because the truck was ordered and specially manufactured for my company needs. I purchased 2 vehicles from this location, the last purchase was on 4/21/2022, it was a mitsubishi outlander sport.The issue I have with this is I was tricked into products I did not need. I refused an extended warranty that was offered to me, after several refusals from me the finance personnel offered it to me for almost nothing. after the contract was done and signed I noticed there was no deal, it was for full price.He used a trick tactic that I fell for.Not only that, there was a bogus "Arrigo Advantage" product that was added in.So in short the total price I owed was more than double what the vehicle was worth, and they ignored my pleas to resolve this. So now to the present day I am 11k underwater with this vehicle and I am still unable to trade in for something else. All I wanted was a little loyalty treatment and I got ripped off instead! 1 starBought my 2022 Jeep Compass 12/2021. Since the day I purchased this vehicle it has been in the shop every 3 months. 1st the lane assist, start/stop censors etc. would randomly go off & I’d take the car into the dealership. Another time the issue popped up and took the car in as soon as it did, did not turn the car off or anything my car was there for two weeks & when you called for any updates no one would answer the phone or return your call. Would have to pop up & ask questions on what is going on. Another fun experience with this 2022 Jeep, my drivers side window stopped working completely for what reason who knows, took the car in they held my car for a day or two picked up the car and my passenger back window stopped working before we even pulled out of the lot. Guess what had to turn around & get that fixed. Last week my stop/start light issue returned, mind you it was “supposedly” fixed 3-4 months ago, I called because when I did my last oil change I had over $900+ of things needing to be done on my car, well I called the service dept about a battery issue that was diagnosed at Tire Plus and I’m still waiting on the callback but decided to use the number on a business card I received from one of the techs that use to work there and the guy there was helpful (rare) but I was told I’d need to drive my car 100miles to recharge my aux battery. I’ve had enough and decided I’d speak to management, the two gentleman I spoke with were great and I believe tried to help. But the finance manager is an *****, how are you trying to do a trade off on a defective car I was sold and coming to me with outrageous payments. Arrigo Margate has provided the worst experience I’ve ever had as a consumer i’ve recommended several people within the last two months to this dealership and I honestly hope they never showed up to purchase anything from here. I sat there for most of afternoon and was showed the true colors of this dealership. I’m taking my business elsewhere.
