I love talking about positive experiences but my stay at the Olde Marco island inn and suites was horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone! first I was moved to a lower standard unit then what I payed for which was conveyed to me, I wanted this room for my wife for that view they told me they were fixing the cost of the rental Which was 900+ a night and now looking at the same room costs I got taken advantage of which i am going to be disputing with my carrier these charges. To add insult to injury there were cockroaches in the bathroom and elsewhere I killed 5 in total and then we moved our belongings to high ground till i could get out of there in the morning as In Marco everything is closed at 9, we lost a $130 dollar booked charter because of this horrible event. Room 301 was not in good shape for the price bathrooms were in bad shape cockroach f**** on the walls in the bath rooms ***** and damaged cabinets broken headboards and beds!! I payed $1800 for 2 nights!! for a room that i could get for $200.00 I was very embarrassed and apologized to my wife I felt like we entered a motel 6. I wanted this for a getaway for me and my wife. I am a local master electrician and I have been completely slammed since Hurricane *** helping our community rebuild there electrical systems and i wanted some time with her which was ruined I want both days back refunded!!! We had no where to go or be rebooked at 12:00 at night when we had roaches in the building. I was patient i understand customer service I still do not have my refund or a email saying that this has been done for the second night I want both days refunded to me at this point this is beyond gross negligence. I will be reporting you to the BBB to health services and also making a formal complaint on your license ******* Olde ********************************************* Acquisition/Olde Marco inn LLC in ******* county and Florida (D.B.P.R.) with the ************* address. I also have pictures of the roaches in the bathroom this was a horrible experience and i thank God that we got a place in the Keys for one night.
