      Michael **** with Pro Tech Air Conditioning and Plumbing performed an exceptional job replacing my condenser unit that had failed. An hour and a half after the installation my unit cooled down from 98 degrees to 78 degrees where I keep it set. Michael was courteous and polite and very professional at all times.

      The overall experience with every tech Corey, Kyle, and Terence was very professional, they were timely, and thorough. Guy, the sales representative was the same! Even the representative that I spoke with when I initially called. My urgency was their urgency and I greatly appreciated that.

      I just closed on a brand new home at sweetbrier in durham last week. The ac is already completely out at my house. I called the emergency number, who said no one could come out until the next day and that I would have to take off from work to be present. It’s 95 degrees outside and my senior dog and young kids were so hot in the home that we had to leave and pay for a room elsewhere. I am a doctor, so they pretty much told me I have to cancel my patients and be home when the tech comes or be without ac for another day until Saturday.
      The representative Roberta was extremely rude and told me she was working without ac at her job, and that she spends more time at her job than her house. I replied and told her that my dog has so much fur and I have young children, and that it does not compare to her situation. Terrible quality, work, and customer service to have these issues in a brand new house

      Josh, our service tech, was friendly, open, and very focused on diagnosing and fixing our a/c issues. He took extra time to patiently demonstrate and explain our issues and his corrective measures. He also offered advice for ways to avoid the same issues in the future. This is what a service call should look like! Thanks Josh and thanks ProTech!

      Update as of 5/28. Job not completed or permitted. I reached out 6 days ago (last we heard back was may 5) I’ve yet to receive a response letting us know where we stand on the issue. Of course the charge still exists for the job, when it is not even usable. They were doing great communicating for 2 weeks, but it appears the ball has been dropped again, and no one seems to care. Photos attached. The customer service continues to be stellar. How did our preferred vendor do downhill so fast?
      Two months ago, I would have enthusiastically recommended this company. However, my experience following the installation of a car charger a month ago has been deeply concerning and has led to a significant structural issue with my home.
      The company failed to secure the necessary permit for the installation. As a direct result, water damage has occurred, compromising a structural beam of my house. Despite numerous calls and emails detailing this urgent and potentially dangerous situation, we have received absolutely no substantive response. An unidentified individual did come and attach a hose without any prior notification or explanation, and there has been no follow-up communication whatsoever.
      While mistakes can happen in any business, the true measure of a company lies in its commitment to rectifying those errors. Ignoring them and failing to communicate, especially in a situation with such serious consequences, is unacceptable. Furthermore, the full payment for the job was processed over a month ago, even as this critical issue remains unaddressed. This lack of accountability and communication demonstrates a profound lack of ethics and disregard for their customers' well-being. Proceed with extreme caution.

      Calling your company for assistance is just a joke at this point. I am going to assume that this was auto generated, since you don’t want to deal with structural damage to a new home. Ethics.
