Got a letter from JNR stating we owe a Claim for $4748.99. I called Anthony ******* on the letter and I talked with him directly. I requested he send me a picture of the property where the property damage took place (our property), He did email me a picture and it is NOT our property. He also asked me if I could tell him where this property in the picture was. I do not know. I asked for the name and number of the client claiming the property damage and he would not provide. It was on the letter (******************) I requested a call back from Anthony and he stated he would look into the claim. No call so far.

JNR Adjustment Company, Inc. (JNR) is a third-party firm assigned by ***** (********************) in matters of property damage subrogation.

A ***** repair technician responded to repair a buried telephone cable that sustained third-party damage during an excavation project. Unfortunately, there was no one on site working when the tech arrived. ***** issued a demand for reimbursement of repair costs based upon information submitted by the responding ***** repairman. JNR did not create the subject claim, nor did JNR determine who should receive the demand. We're simply handling the matter on *****'s behalf.

JNR has to proceed based on information received, until there is additional information suggesting further investigation may be necessary. After speaking with the complainant and reviewing the information in the file, we acknowledge ***** may have issued their demand based on a vague or otherwise incomplete description of the loss location. Upon that discovery, our representative immediately asked ***** to clarify. That was just on 12/9/2021 and it's been less than three (3) full business days since making that request.

We apologize our representative has yet to respond further, but ***** has not confirmed a more precise damage location. Nevertheless, at this juncture, based on the photographic evidence alone, it seems very clear the loss did not occur on the complainants property as the demand originally indicated. The complainant should not receive any further communication from JNR with regard to the damages, and should consider the matter closed.
