    Approximately 19 months ago WaterTight put a new roof on my condo. As soon as it rained water started to leak into my garage wall. After months of the management company trying to get WaterTight back out they finally did and said they fixed the leak. After 5 months it started to leak again. It has now been months again and WaterTight has no-showed time after time to repair it. I have 64 pages of empty email promises.

    Subject: ******************* and Unresolved Issues by Watertight Roofing 1 star is too much Timeline:April 4, 2024: Roof replacement completed and they left a large orange stain from top of roof to my gutters, necessitating area roof replacement. (This was accomplished)Gutter Mismanagement: Improper gutter reinstallation impaired water flow; severely damaged leaf guards were reinstalled without informing me, caused by roofers negligence.Interactions with Leadership:Owner's Acknowledgment: ***** inspected and admitted the damages exceeded minor wear, promising full corrections.May 3, 2024: Gutter team arrived unannounced, without necessary tools, indicating poor planning; emphasized need for approved work scope before commencement.May 6, 2024: Received a proposal suggesting use of inferior .027 gauge gutters vs. original .032 gauge. Work included replacing gutters and guards on the first story, attempting to re-pitch and replace damaged guards on the second story, and cleaning out debris. Full payment demanded upon completion of all repairs. (Almost acceptable)May 9, 2024: ***** refused to restore original gutter quality, offered color options, and waived additional fees, still waiting for soffit evaluation May 15, 2024: ***** disclosed discussing my quote with the gutter company regarding the pricing, raising serious transparency and trust issues. Threatened placing my property of lien for unpaid balance unless terms accepted by May 16 My request for resolution:Full replacement of all gutter guards with original quality Realignment and/or replacement of gutters, as originally agreed Complete cleaning of all gutter debris, and reinstallation of the rain sensor Replacement of damaged soffit Conclusion:****** promises have remained unfulfilled; his subsequent threats and business practices highlight a serious disregard for customer satisfaction and professional standards. Caution is advised when engaging with Watertight Roofing.

    I disagree with this recap of what occurred on your job.  Watertight Roofing was made aware of the issue of shingle discoloration from a spilled bucket of water with rust.  The installation crew was sent back and replaced shingles in the area.  Your entire statement is inaccurate.  Watertight Roofing hired a professional gutter company to try to appease you.  You were notified via text and email days before the gutter company appointment.  Soffit was evaluated and it was determined and you agreed that it had nothing to do with Watertight Roofing.  I am sorry that you took the time to write this review before coming to a mutual agreement in terms of resolutions. As of this morning you were still emailing back and forth with Shaun.  There has never been nor will there ever be a threat made by Watertight Roofing or Shaun.  Professional standards and customer satisfaction are held in the highest regard at this company.  However, ultimately it appears by your actions and words that nothing will be satisfactory in your eyes. I am confident that there is a resolution that is acceptable to both parties and it is Watertight Roofing's hope that this ultimately gets resolved.

    I appreciate your response; however, it is important to correct several inaccuracies and affirm the unresolved issues that continue to affect my property and trust in your services.While I recognize your right to disagree with my account, this does not change the actual facts of the situation. You believe that since you hired a gutter company that somehow equates to you making attempts to resolve the issue. However you hired a company to get an estimate on the work and no work has been started. I believe that once you realized the actual cost of the damages, you decided it wasnt worth resolving since you would most likely be lose money on my roof project. Regardless, the responsibility falls on you and your company to ensure work has been completed in some type of fashion and still to this date, no work to resolve the outstanding damages has been started. However, the fact remains that there was an agreed-upon scope of work which has simply not been fulfilled. Your team, led by *****, initially took responsibility for the damages and committed to making the necessary repairs. These commitments included:Full replacement of all gutter guards on the first and second story.Full replacement of all gutter on the first story and realignment and/or replacement of gutters on the second story.Complete cleaning of all gutter debris, and reinstallation of the rain sensor.No payment will be required until after all repairs are resolved.Despite these clear agreements, on May 16, 2024, ***** came to my home and explicitly stated that he would not complete these repairs. He stood up from the table between us and leaned forward to me and demanded payment of $14,000 and threatened to place a lien on my property if not paid that day. When I hesitated to accept his new demands due to the incomplete work he stated he will be putting a lien on my property and then he walked off my property. This lien was enforced the following morning despite significant unresolved damages totaling $5,732. I was forced to pay my bill due to the lien put on my property that was used as manipulation to close the project. My initial total was $13,651.00. ***** provided a $1,600 good faith discount bringing it down to $12,051.00. The acceptance of this discount is not acceptance of payment towards damages. Just to be clear, that is not what a good faith discount is used for and I am making sure that is publicly understood in case you try to twist that discount as damage coverage.This series of events, particularly the interaction and the manner in which the lien was used, underscores a profound lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and professional standards and this approach shows a complete disregard to comply with agreed terms. It is critical for potential customers to be aware of these practices.My intention here is not just to express dissatisfaction but to urge resolution and to caution others about potential issues with their service. I am still committed to finding a resolution that adheres to our agreement and rectifies the damages sustained by your company.
