    My daughter who is a minor scheduled an appointment with Braids by Tera for late afternoon on Friday August 29. She was required to prepay for the appointment and paid $207 on August 22. On August 27, Tera contacted my daughter and asked to reschedule to the morning of Saturday August 30th due to a concert she wanted to attend. My daughter agreed to the new appointment time and rescheduled another commitment to the original appointment time on Friday afternoon. On Friday afternoon Tera contacted my daughter again to cancel the appointment for Saturday morning and asked her to come in that same day. My daughter was unable to come in with the short notice on that Friday. At this point my wife contacted Tera to determine the issue and she was very combative and questioned why she was contacted on her personal number, which is the one she used to communicate with my daughter. During the conversation with my wife she stated she would refund my daughters payment. Afterwards she blocked my daughter and wife from contacting her. My daughter has not received the refund she was promised.

    I am rejecting this response because the business owner is confusing us with another customer.  This was our first and only interaction with this business.  We never even visited the business because the owner tried to reschedule our appointment multiple times.  After more than 2 weeks without a refund from the business, we contacted our bank to claim fraud against the charge and our bank refunded us the money immediately.  I am unaware of any communication between the business and our bank concerning the fraud claim.   I have attached screenshot from bank statement showing our bank crediting us $207 with a claim number.  Since our bank took care of the issue immediately, we do not need to deal with this business anymore.  However, this business does not deserve an A rating due to the unprofessional behavior of the owner.  Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and treat customers better in the future.
