On September 1st, I purchased a vehicle from this company, after being assured that the vehicle was in perfect working condition and had no issues as the owner assured me that him and his mechanic thoroughly inspected and evaluated the truck for any issues. I drove it home that day, which is less than a mile from the business. A few days later on the 6th was the first day since purchasing the vehicle, that we took it out to go pick up our kids from school. On the way home is when the truck had issues and broke down on the side of the road. After inspection of the truck is when I noticed the vehicle had no coolant, had a massive oil leak coming from below the truck and had no oil left in it, and noticed it was also burning gas extremely inefficiently. I contacted the business the next day and he informed me to get it towed to him if I could not nurse it back to his business. After attempting to drive it back to the business, it was clear the vehicle would not make it as it was struggling to even go 4 mph. On the 8th is when I had a tow truck come and take it to the business. The owner assured me it was just a simple fix and he was ordering the parts and should have it fixed by Tuesday the following week. On Wednesday the 13th I had contacted him asking about the situation of the truck, in which I was told the parts were delayed and the truck should be fixed by Friday that week, but if not he would contact me when it was fixed. After not hearing from him, I reached back out on the 26th asking about the truck. It was at that point he had informed me that the vehicle was beyond repair and there was nothing I could do about it. I then requested for my money back, in which he replied with saying that he was not going to do that and he will get his attorney involved. I called my auto insurance agent immediately after that, informed them of the situation and had removed my coverage from the vehicle. I have asked for a full list of issues, to which his lawyer said no.
