      1. I was told that the most my electric bill would be was $35 (which is a minimum fee that FPL charges for solar customers) and that the panels would usually generate more power than I use resulting in credits from FPL. Since the panels have been active 9 months ago, my monthly electric bill has been averaging between $60-$85 with no credits.2. 1 of the panels malfunctioned about 6 months ago and it still has not been replaced even though it is under warranty.

PES solar installed a solar system for this homeowner that was designed off of his estimated annual usage. PES Solar even had the homeowner sign an addendum stating that this was designed off of a limited view of his estimated usage.  PES Solar has been in communication with the homeowner and advised him that he is using more energy monthly than the system is designed to offset. PES Solar once again installed a solar system the homeowner sized and wanted us to install. PES Solar is more than happy to work towards an amicable solution with the homeowner to appease his complaint, but it will not be at the companies expense. PES Solar is more than happy to provide a quote for additional panels to offset the excess energy he's using which is causing the bill he is seeing monthly.

I installed solar panels with PES solar about 3 years ago, shortly after had issues with my roof leaking they came out and supposedly fix it, once the rain season came back my roof leaked again same spots, contacted PES took them about two months to come out and review once again supposedly fix it, but thats not all I also had drywall damage due to the water leaking into my house, keep trying to contact them and always was the same thing over and over someone with contact you, now its been over a year and when I finally got someone to call me I sent them all the info and pictures they requested they came back and told me that I had to fix the damage out of pocket and they will reimburse me, NO WAY I DOING THAT, no were in the contract does it say that customer is responsible for damages and then they will be reimburse, and if I do pay for the repair Ill probably have to wait another year for someone to call me or never get my money back. Poor customer service and I will definitely say do not do business with PES solar, *** does not honor there contracts after they sell to you your just another number. Contract states they guarantee the roof from leaking for 20 years and will fix and repair any damage created by water damage.Regret 100% even doing business with them.

I am so disappointed with PES Solar and the horrible customer service I have received around having my solar panels removed for a roof replacement. On Wed April 9, we scheduled to have the solar panels removed for a new roof. They were supposed to remove them on 4/18 and my roof was scheduled for replacement on Tuesday 4/22.I received an email from ***** ****** on 4/17, the day before, to let me know that they would not be able to remove until 4/25. So the whole roof project and delivery of materials etc has to be pushed back. They showed up on 4/25 and removed the panels and the job was quick. Great.Roof was installed on 4/27, completed in 2 days and inspected. I emailed ***** on 4/30 to let him know the roof was done and panels could go back up. No answer. On May 1 I received an invoice to pay for the panels to be reinstalled and paid immediately. Still no correspondence.Followed up to ask when panels would be reinstalled.I received an email from ***** on 5/2 informing me that they would be installed sometime during the week of 5/26.I am so disgusted with this entire process.I was told Im sorry, we book 3-4 weeks outIm sorry, this is your JOB. This is what you do every single day. I have no idea that you book 3-4 weeks out and that replacing panels wouldnt be taken into consideration when they were taken ****** seems to me that it would be LOGICAL to ensure the panels could be reinstalled at the same time you schedule them to come ****** as it stands, my solar panels are laying in my garage for an entire month, during 86 degree weather, as my electric bill goes up and I cant use the solar panels that I paid you $40,000.00 for.And all I get from PES solar is Im sorry. ******** customer service and project management.

I had a new solar array installed, finalized, and turned on in August 2024. The installers did not provide a final walkthrough, either by inspecting the completion themselves or inviting me to do so. I had inspected the installation during the process and saw no issues.Prior to the new installation, I removed the existing array from 2018, which had no damaged panels despite enduring hurricanes and other weather conditions. There are no trees around my house that could drop anything onto the roof, nor was there any object found on the roof that could have fallen from the sky and broken the panel. The damaged panel is located near the center of my flat roof, which has no slope for something to hit and then fall to the ********* February, I went up on the roof for other purposes and noticed that one of the panels was shattered. The damage resembled a spider web pattern, with one side showing the glass crumbled around one of the attaching screws.I spent approximately $40,000 on the array. When the installers left, they did not provide a walkthrough of the project completion. I received a call the next day informing me that I could turn on the system, but that was it. They have not provided any images or videos showing all panels installed and undamaged. They offered to replace the damaged panel at a cost of $1,000, claiming it was an 'act of nature,' which Enphase would not cover.I believe the company should replace the panel at no cost and provide proof, such as a detailed video of the entire array showing it was installed without damage. I requested this proof because I was not asked to inspect their final work upon completion. Given the mild weather between August and March 30 of this year, with very few wind or heavy rain issues the company should replace the panel that was poorly installed

PES Solar installed this homeowners solar system on 7/16/2024. PES Solar has documented photos showing all panels installed and the solar system completely installed with no damage to any of the panels. The homeowner had his attorney reach out to PES Solar in October of 2024 to request photos of install due to an outside issue not involving PES Solar. The homeowner has been shown Photos of the installation and in the photos it is clearly visible PES Solar did not leave the homeowners house with any damaged panels. PES Solar has not even been back to this homeowners house and stepped foot on roof since the installation was completed on 7/16/2024. Now 8 months later this homeowner emailed in on 3/3/2025 to advise us he has a broken panel. We advised the homeowner that if the panel is shattered or broken glass then usually the manufacturer's do not warranty these issues and it will costs the homeowner money out of pocket to replace the panel. we advised this homeowner of this on 3/3/2025 in which we sent him a quote as well for this. The homeowner then claimed that the Panel was tightened down to tight and is was caused the panel to shatter in which PES Solar explained was not the case due to the clips are designed to snap at the bottom before enough pressure is exerted to shatter a panel. PES solar has never had an issue with this. PES Solar advised that this was some sort of act of god and could not be held responsible for the Panel being shattered as 8 months has gone by and when PES Solar left there were no shattered panels. This homeowner then stated he was not happy we were still going to charge him and stated he was going to make complaint to the BBB. PES Solar would still like to come to a amicable solution with the homeowner and resolve this, but however it will not be at an expense to PES Solar.

Original installation date before end of 2025 never done company did not respond to dates. Then scheduled for jan 31 , 2025. Called inquiring on expected service as invoice noted new wiring. I was told only new connectors. I did not understand the quote and was yelled at and bulled to not inquire. I felt offended and belittled during the call. Asked why I am being spoke to this way aggressive and the answer was i was wrong simple answer. Responsible party called back and apologized said he had a bad day. Now the the solar not only was it late to install but i spoke to insight technician and he said it is normal for some to show not working again i did not agree. As this has happened before they need not leave before all panels show functional. Now i am chasing and response is will get back to you with a new date to go back and fix they said the work order did not have new connectors. I have been paying solar for months for a product that does not function properly.

The hybrid water heater is leaking at the point where the hot water is sent out of the heater. The manufacturer will replace the part but not the installation. *** states that they no longer deal with this manufacturer (*****) and will not service it. The damage to the unit was caused by the installer using a pipe wrench and gouging into the fitting that rusted to the point of leaking. *** said that I should hire a plumber on my own and pay for him to repair the fitting

PES Solar has advise this customer that this is a water heater issue. This issues was not caused by PES Solar faulty installation. PES Solar has advised the homeowner that unfortunately they will need to contact ***** and helped provide the info they needed to contact the manufacturer to get the issue resolved. PES Solar does the installation but does not have any Warranties through PES Solar if there is needed work required for a manufacture issue. PES Solar even spoke to Rheem directly and they advised that a Rheem technician will need to complete the repair needed themselves. We have advised all of this to the homeowner and even advised we would help facilitate the process but we will not be paying for services to Rheem if required and cannot send a technician out to make repair when an authorized Rheem tech is the person who needs to make repair. PES Solar is still more than willing to help customer get resolved but will unfortunately not be at PES Solar expense.

this problem was not a failure of the water heater, rather a fitting put on by a subcontractor hired by *** I spoke with Rheem regarding this issue and they cant be responsible for a issue regarding installation. They agreed to send a new fitting going into the tank but not the coupling that connects it to the household water supply or the labor to change it.

      Business Response

PES Solar once again denies that this was due to a faulty installation. The water heater was installed in 2021 and after 3 years now that homeowner is claiming the leak is from fault installation. If this were due to a fault installation this would have happened right after install. This was due to a defective part on the water heater in which required a Rheem certified technician to replace/ take care of. Once again PES Solar installs the water heater but if it has anything to do with needing a part replaced or warranty issue PES Solar advises the homeowners they will need to contact the manufacturer directly which is what PES Solar advised. PES Solar is more than happy to further discuss with homeowner or come to a solution with them that makes them happy.

We entered a contract with PES solar to have solar panels and power wall installed on our roof. From the time of signing contract we dealt with many issues that we found questionable (all documented issues but not the reason for this complaint) but due to our contract, we decided to move forward. Just 2 months after our install, we started to have roof leaks, the first which was quite significant as we had standing water in our foyer and a large portion of our foyer ceiling stained. The *** resolve was to tarp, then pour sealant, then to paint the ceiling...this happened on several other occassions. Fast forward to ******** Milton...after we had already taken on 2 feet of flood water in our home and was in the process of demolition, we evacuated due to ******. upon returning home we found SEVERE ceiling damage due to leaks...we naturally assumed storm damage and filed a claim with our homeowners...what the adjuster found was horrifying...so many holes and patches from the installers of our panels....apparently they put them down, then continued to move them as they were not in secure areas of the roof...we called ***. they sent their roofing division...roofing division found it shocking and stated that panels should never have been installed to begin with due to pitch and type of materials we had AND was shocked to see the holes and patches and agreed that MORE patching would NOT fix the problem due to the severity of the damage inside. We have had several other roofing contractors state the same. As of yesterday we finally have a tarp on our roof however I continue to be ignored by the company as far as any real repair or resolve. I am told that someone is speaking to the owner but he is very busy...meanwhile, they wanted to send techs to pour more sealant which I refused as the tarp is safer at this point. I want the panels REMOVED along with the ***** powerwall that sat in 3 feet of flood waters so I can replace my roof and so my policy is NOT cancelled.

PES Solar has addressed all issues with the homeowner. PES Solar sent technicians onsite to fully assess the situation and roof leaks she claims are from PES Solar. The *** tech found that the leaks originate from Pool solar that was not properly sealed when relocated to have her solar panels installed. *** has advised the homeowner of all this and as a courtesy to try and appease the homeowner ***  made sure to help continue help fix the leaks so she can have a roofing company help her potentially get a new roof. Complaint: 22491653

I am rejecting this response because: PES Solar did in fact send two technicians to our home today.  They attempted to go onto the roof to try to run water over and into the areas where we are experiencing leaks.  As I had mentioned prior, we are under construction from losing a better part of our home to flood damage and since we have paid a great deal out of our pockets to repair the damage to our ceiling from the roof leaks (some which happened PRIOR to the hurricanes), I did NOT want anymore damage inside of our home since PES accepts no responsibility for such damage .  The technician understood that. The technician was able to run water in several places but when he came down, he said that there were areas that he could NOT reach and did NOT want to run water and risk compromising the work that has been done.  He spent a great deal of time on the phone after that with higher *** and he expressed much of my concerns with them.  I DID receive a call from the roofing division while the technician was still here and they said they will be sending over a proposal which I have not received as of yet.  In response to PES stating that the leaks were due to our pool solar is absolutely FALSE! The technician went on the roof with my husband and said that as a courtesy he had patched over the clips that secured those panels only because there was no tarp on those areas and it was a precaution.  It has rained for several hours here today and it has rained for several days prior and we have experienced NO leaking where the pool panels are (I know this because there are no NEW leaks or show of reoccurring leaks showing on our freshly painted ceilings.  Shame on PES Solar for such a response.  I expressed to them earlier that we are reasonable people and we just want them to do the right thing and after the conference call earlier in the day, I thought that they may be attempting to do so.  Blaming the leaks on another company was disappointing to say the least. I will wait for the proposal before any further comments.
      Sincerely,

      ****** ******

This Company is a hot mess, unprofessional, sloppy and a disaster to deal with. We choose PES due to them providing us the best price, and 1 time uninstall and install of panels if needed for a roof job. From the start , during install, the installer fell through my ceiling and caused a hole in my open concept family room. They went ahead and paid for a patch job, which looks horrible, you can see the huge patch which sticks out like a sore thumb. Then we began with the leaks, they deny any fault , of course saying the leaks are cause by wear and tear of the roof, which their engineer approved off. Our roof required a tarp, nowadays they shrink wrap them which cost the restoration company $8k, and water still accumulated. Due to the ongoing leaks my ceiling collapsed in the living room. Water leaked through our bathroom and garage area. They had someone come out to inspect and said the water is entering via small holes and animal caused. I went up and inspected the tarp and no holes were found. Someone else came out and said they were going to repair our roof. When asked how so, there were no permits the employee was unable to explain and argued with us saying he was not going to do any work unless my shrink wrap was removed. We had to rip open the tarp and the following day their so called roofer, that has been in business for over 20 years and has never seen a shrink wrap cover on a roof, began squirting water with my water hose for 30 min to 1 hr. He then had the audacity to say water entered via a seem which was wear and tear, he patched it up however there is no water seeping through. We showed him the damage and water entrance and still said it was not caused by them. After ditching 20k in a new roof my permit was just approved , I call them to remove the panels so we can repair our roof, and they are saying no they don't do that and they charge a fee of $15k dollars. These guys are horrible and I will report to the state of Fl and seek Civil Suit.

These complaints filed by this homeowner are completely inaccurate. The leaks that occurred on this homeowners roof were not due to PES Solars installation. The homeowner had their personal roofer meet PES Solar onsite to identify the leaks and it was determined with the homeowner present and the roofer present that it was due to other issues with her roof and not the solar. This homeowner is upset due to the fact they think or believe that PES Solar does free removal and reinstallations of solar systems so they can get their roof redone. Unfortunately, this is not a service that PES Solar does for free.  At PES Solar we have a very strict policy that in some cases we do provide huge discounts to homeowners if our roofing company (PRS Roofing) is installing a roof for the homeowner.  PES Solar must have an addendum created and fully executed by an executive and owner for this to happen. This was not the case for this homeowner. PES Solar cannot do a removal and reinstall for this homeowner at no costs due to the work that must be redone. There is special mounts installed on this homeowners roof due to it being a flat roof and PES Solar cannot pull up and re-use these mounts once again after being pulled up. All hardware must be replaced. PES Solar has even dropped our price below our costs to come out of pocket to help the homeowner for something we were never contractually agreed to.  PES Solar has not lost any paperwork regarding this homeowners contracts etc. The homeowner unfortunately stated she has misplaced her copy of the contract PES Solar sent her and she asked PES Solar to please re-send a copy of their contract. PES Solar has every intention of making this customer happy! Unfortunately, we cannot as a company participate in unhealthy business activities that again were not due to our workmanship or contractual obligations.

Horrible Experience with Solar Panels!I regret choosing this company for my solar panel installation. From the start, it has been a complete nightmare. First, they lost my paperwork because one of their employees quit. Then, during installation, someone fell through my ceiling, and they refused to cover the entire repair cost, leaving me with a huge, noticeable patch in my open-concept home. They also installed the panels on an old roof, which caused leaks. I had to remove my $12,000 roof cover just so they could deny responsibility, even though multiple roofers, inspectors, and my insurance company confirmed that the leaks were caused by the ********* make matters worse, when I signed the contract, I was promised a free one-time uninstall and reinstall service, knowing my roof was 17 years old. Now, when I'm finally getting my roof replaced due to all these issues, theyre trying to charge me $15,000 to remove the panels! This is not what I was told when I initially signed ***** top it off, their customer service is terrible. I called twice today and was promised a call back in 15 minutes, but hours later, no one contacted me. ****, in particular, was supposed to handle it, but no follow-up. After being on hold for hours and being constantly ignored, I finally got through to someone who told me there was no one in the office because its Friday!Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this company. The stress, damage, and frustration are simply not worth it.

In response to PES Solar's claims, I want to address several inaccuracies that are completely disheartening and unacceptable as a customer. First, at no time did we have our roofer onsite with PES Solar to assess the leaks. My husband was home during the installation, and I can confirm that no such meeting ever took place. Upon closer inspection, we also discovered that the solar panels were not properly installed under the shingles, causing serious issues with our roof that should have been avoided.
Additionally, during the installation process, someone from PES Solar fell through my ceiling, damaging the interior of my home. Instead of properly fixing the damage, they only patched the spot where the ceiling was broken. This patchwork looks terrible, especially since we have an open-concept design, and the ceiling now stands out like an eyesore. Its incredibly frustrating that they didnt take the time to redo the entire ceiling to make it look right.
As for the claim that PES Solar doesnt provide free removal and reinstallation, we were specifically told by the sales representative, along with ******, that we were entitled to one uninstall and reinstall. I did not make this up, and it's infuriating that this promise is now being denied.
Regarding the contract, I did not "misplace" itI no longer have access to the email where it was sent, and its frustrating that PES Solar is shifting the blame onto me instead of simply resending it.
Overall, this experience has been an absolute nightmare. The lack of professionalism, broken promises, and poor workmanship have left me extremely dissatisfied. PES Solar needs to take responsibility for the damage and honor the commitments they made to resolve this situation.

PES Solar stands by its first initial response. PES Solar has made every attempt to appease the homeowner and has conducted onsite visits to show the homeowner the roof leaks were not caused by us. The homeowner was onsite with our supervisor and technicians, in which it was shown to them they no leaks were present other than 1 which was not caused by the solar panels and once again shown to them. Regarding the ceiling damage, PES Solar unfortunately caused damage to the ceiling in which it was fixed and monetarily reimbursed back to the homeowner to have repaired. This homeowner has been a happy customer with us for 2-3 years until these issues with roof came to fruition. The homeowner has known about their roof condition the entire time. As previously stated, PES Solar is more than happy to come to a resolution with this homeowner. However, Pes Solar is not going to take responsibility for things that we are not at fault or liable for. Contractually held to its the homeowners responsibility to read and be aware if something isnt clearly in the scope of work. In the insurance claim the insurance companies will pay for the removal and reinstall of the solar.

We would like to clarify that when PES Solar installed your solar system, in June of 2021, we ensured that the installation was performed to the highest standards.
Receiving you call on July 17, 2023, two years later, our team promptly investigated the situation with your husband on site along with our supervisor and technicians and determined that the roof issues were unrelated to the solar installation but rather other factors since the install in 2021.
As a gesture of goodwill, our team took the initiative to temporarily seal the leaks we identified, that was not due to PES Solar to mitigate any immediate issues. Additionally, we have offered you a discount for the removal and reinstallation of the solar panels.
Regarding the ceiling damage, that occurred during the installation of June 2021, PES Solar technician fell through the drywall from the attic.  The Homeowner wanted a drywall company to handle the repairs.  The Homeowner hired the company *************************, to handle the drywall ceiling repair. All damage to the ceiling, which was fixed by this company, *************************, NOT PES Solar.  Pes Solar paid for the repair to the company on, June 24, 2021, invoice # ****** in the amount of $1450.00.
If the Homeowner has an issue now with the finished drywall, the homeowner will need to contact the company they hired to fix the drywall, not PES Solar, as we did not do the actual drywall repair.
On multiple occasion, at your request, we have continually sent you copies of your signed contracted dated: June 4, 2021.  If you still need another copy, we will be happy to re-send it again.

PES Solar has gone above and beyond to help the Homeowner.

I am rejecting this response because: I am writing to address the inaccuracies in your recent communication. I do not intend to engage in further back-and-forth on this matter, but I need to clarify a few points.
First, your statement that I only contacted you in July 2023 regarding leakage is incorrect. I had reached out previously, and your team visited my property on three separate occasions to attempt to seal the panels. Despite these efforts, the issue remains unresolved. The bottom line is that it appears you are unwilling to take responsibility, leaving me to bear the consequences. Please confirm if this is your final position.
Second, I want to acknowledge that the company ******************** provided outstanding service. They were efficient, professional, and did a phenomenal job. However, my issue lies with your companys decision not to cover the full cost of repairing my ceiling. I have an open-concept layout, and your proposal to patch a portion of the ceiling is inadequate and unacceptable, as it results in a visible and unsightly patch. This is not a matter of property maintenance but rather your reluctance to cover the necessary costs.
Finally, I have yet to receive any contract, documentation, or correspondence from you detailing your position. I would appreciate clarification on where these communications are being sent, as I have not received a single copy via email or any other means.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this matter.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *******

This was insufficient for the vaulted ceilings, and the technician left without completing the job.Independent Roof Inspection - A roofing company and a home inspector were called to assess the damage. They found ***** broken tiles around the solar panels, with leaks and microbial growth caused by improper installation. PES Solar met homeowner onsite with their roofer and it was determined the leaks and damages to homeowners house were not due to solar. The homeowner was onsite as this was determined and made aware.
