    I went into the dealership on 02/19/2023 to inquire about a Toyota 4Runner that was not currently on the lot but was in transit to the dealership. I was unsure of the sale, but after talking more with AJ, the salesman, he convinced me to put a $1,000 deposit down to secure the vehicle because it was in high demand and they could not guarantee the vehicle to me. I was given a mock buyers order that I in turn signed, but not a single person, sales or management, signed the document. After a several week waiting period, I had run into some financial troubles, and traveled back to the dealership on 03/11/2023, to inquire about gaining my deposit back and have them return the vehicle to the lot so they could sell it, the vehicle had only been on the lot for 4 days. I spoke with a sales leader, Michael K***, he walked back to his office, then after about 10 minutes, he walked outside on his cell phone out the side door, then came back in from a different door, and came up to me and stated it was non-refundable, he talked to his GM and he said that came from him as well. I then showed him the document that lacked anyone's signature, and also states "This order, when approved by an officer or sales manager of Philips Toyota, is binding, subject to approval of credit for which application is hereby made. If buyer fails to perform hereunder the above deposit shall be forfeited to seller." No one signed or approved this order at all, they just had me sign it, then made a copy of it. He did show a copy that was signed after the fact. I spoke to the GM a few days later and he was adamant about ending the call as quickly as possible, and stated that due to the vehicle being in high demand, was the reason for no refund of the deposit. I just want my money back since I came in a reasonable timeframe, there was also no approval on the document when I signed, which renders it void. This vehicle can be sold, according to them. No reason to take my money or be rude and unprofessional.
