I have a family of 5 and we have been without AC going on 8 day now. I have a 3yrs, 6yrs and 14yrs old kids. I went to the office on 9/26/22 and the receptionist (******) call tech and that's when she was telling me that a part was needed 7 days later after we notified the office on Tuesday 9/20/22. They failed to contact us after we spoke with them multiple times last week. They said the part would be ready yesterday and the issue would be fixed but they fail to do that also. I asked what was the technician diagnosis she do not know, I asked when they contact the technician the she don't remember. I went back to the office before 5pm before they close because there was no update. At this point I threaten to call the news channel, that's when I was able to speak with **** Property manager) who is not around for the next 2 weeks. I asked him due to the Ac continously running without cool air if they will be responsible for my Fpl(electric bill ) because it will be high or compensate for the inconvenience. They both BOLDLY said there is nothing they can do. Ask him would he lower the rent for this month he stated that he can not because it wasn't his fault.. I asked for the Cooperate information he stated there is no one above him. I asked for an email per our conversation he stated that I have to email him first and then he will send it to higher up... This is not fear for my family at all and now they all sick and the baby have heat rash. Last year I let him off the hook thanksgiving when my whole apartment was flood they gave me 2-3 big fan to dry up the water then send a guy to streamer the carpet but still we paid our rent in full and faithfully on time but this is how a tenant is treated like our life don't matter... Need a resolution hurricane is coming without AC and it's not like we can open the windows... What's next..??
