    Contracted Area-Wide ***************************** Systems on 11/21/2023 to replace a window and repair a louver door. In April, I began calling about window screens I didn't receive and repair of the door. They came out one day in early May with a number of screens. One fit so they left it but they still owe me a screen. They took the door then brought it back. They are not able to repair it so I just would like my $150 refunded. Multiple calls about these issues have been ignored.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I'm pleased to report that I have received a check for $150 from Area-Wide Door & Window System. Thanks to the BBB for getting their attention. However, they still owe me screens for my new windows they installed and I ask that the BBB keep this complaint open until I get screens that fit, which will close out my order with Area-Wide and my complaint with BBB.

    We have provided a refund to the consumer that was cashed. At this time as goodwill the consumer has received a door and screen. We will reach out to the consumer to discuss.

    We paid this company $12,000 to redo windows and sliders and they did a very poor job resulting in tremendously high humidity levels turning into mildew issues in the condo. We have been waiting 8 months for the owner to rectify these issues and he keeps giving us the around. Look up all of their reviews before paying this company any money. Once they have their money they will disappear, owner is always sick or on vacation and is full of empty promises. We had to pay another company to remedy all of the issues.
