Went to the dealership today ti look at vehicle. Prior to departing I called the business to see if car was available and asked if anything was wrong with it. Salesman stated car was available and nothing was wrong with it. To my dismay upon arrival, the vehicle had lots of things wrong with it including stains everywhere, faded paint with multiple issues with the outside surfaces. I spent over 2.5 hours driving to and from plus tolls paid. This is ridiculous!

The Custoemr called about a used 2012 vehicle. The pictures of our inventory is online and The pictures of the vehicle the customer inquired about was online as well. Used vehicles Cosmetic condition tends to vary. As a transparent business, we are more than welcome to send vehicle videos for customers before they come to the dealership. The customer did not even request a video. The vehicle is 15 years old, and the paint is slightly faded, which shows in the pictures we have online. We  advise our customer to ask the correct questions so we can answer  with transparency. The customer did not even ask about the cosmetic condition of the vehicle. Sorry That the customer feels that way, but we are More than happy to assist with other vehicle information.

I am rejecting this response because:

The seller stated there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.  I understand used vehicles if 15 years old can have issues.  The seller stated there weren't any issues.  Why would i request a video when they stated there was nothing wrong with car.  Plus the seller was very short with their answers when I did ask any questions.

Now the seller is admitting there are problems with the car.  They could have saved my lots of time and gas if they mentioned this beforehand.

    Sincerely,

    ***** ******

this dealership sold me a car that they mechanically altered to intentionally hide a major problem with the head gasket. ******* ***** and an independent mechanic examined the car and determined that a stop leak chemical was added to the coolant of the car to hide the head gasket problem. the car hasn't worked well a single day. the car keep losing water and heating. the mechanic report said that the chemical compound they added clogged the water lines into the engine which forced the water to come out of the coolant tank and the engine get heated. I contacted them but they refused to refund me money for the car repair cost. the car need new head gasket and a complete service of the engine head to remove all the chemical compound from it. it also need new radiator, thermostat plus labor. the total repair cost is over $4,000

    Hi Sir/Madam,

2013 ******* Cayenne was sold on 7/10/23 to Ashraf. He contacted us on october stating the vehicle is overheating and he had one of his friend worked on the vehicle on his garage to fix the coolant issue. We advised the customer to bring the vehicle over and not let any inexperienced mechanic work on it since it is a ******* or take it to Porsche dealer to figure out the issue. The customer didn't want to bring the vehicle nor pay for services expanse for the vehicle to get fixed. The vehicle was sold as is with no warranties please see attached.

Till this moment we are willing to help the customer and bring it for our inhouse mechanic to assist with the fixes and charge the customer wholesale price for the repair, but unfortunately we cant simply refund the fix cost since it is the car owner responsibility to maintain the vehicle and use certified mechanic to work on such luxury vehicle.

I am rejecting this response because:

unfortunately this dealership continue the road of deception and lying.  first the car broke less than a mile away from this dealership. their response here is painting a picture that the car was fine until October while in reality the car never worked well ever since I bought it.  attached the messages from the date of purchase. they told me the issue fixed but its not.  in addition, I took the car to Porsche dealership here in ***** and they checked it and told me that a head casket repair kit was added to the coolant of the car & the first step will be to change the thermostat and radiator. I sent this dealership the mechanic shop repair report ( there is no garage of a friend, the car was diagnosed and worked on in a reputable mechanical shops ). I asked this dealership to cover less than half of the cost of fixing the car. when I contact them they wanted to sell me the repair and I simply don't have any trust in them considering that two different mechanical shops gave me a report that the issue was hidden because of the dealership adding gasket repair liquid which hide the issue for sometime but have horrible consequences when it ran its course.

Attached the screenshot of the message I sent him literally few min after I drove the car out of his lot ( translated in English as we spoke in our native language) . I am also going to attach ************* report as well shortly.

    Sincerely,

I bought a *** 328i a few months ago (and bought a warranty with them), the frame bolts were lose, he's gone back numerous times to get it fixed even bought new bolts. Mind you cars needs bolts to hold the frame in! This company states they will not cover the cost of replacing the bolts and it is not covered under warranty!

Sorry to hear that the customer feels disappointed in regard this issue. ************************ purchased 14 *** 328i VIN "*****************" on 1/15/23, the purchase was financed through the bank and the loan had a warranty from the financed bank. On middle of march the customer contacted ** and informed ** that some bolts flew off the vehicle while driving  and was wondering if the warranty will cover that. We assisted the customer by explaining that the warranty only covers power train and doesn't cover maintenance or minor issues like this. the customer wasnt happy and didnt like the fact that the warranty donest cover this issue, so we took an extra step to help him fixing the car and we purchased the bolts and install it for him for only 80$ which was a huge discount to assist our customer even though the vehicle was purchased "as is" and the customer signed that the vehicle was "as is" and the dealer is not obligated to fix any issue. That being said we always try our best to help our customers and in this case we just charged him the bolts cost and the cost if installation.
