  They were a horrible company to deal with. I had them remove the solar panels that they had installed in 2015 during a new roof install in 2023 and when the idiot crew came back to re-install the panels, they broke over 40 tiles on my brand new roof and didn't even install the panels correctly. I spent a year getting them to come out to resolve the issues-now this. I'm not surprised. Now after many calls for warranty replacements on 4 micro inverters, I find they are out of business. A new person answered the last call and said this was a new company taking over service for Suntec's former customers. They took $200 down payment for a new service contract and never showed up and now the number called goes to voicemail. The charge on my credit card states "Left Coast Contracting" so I'm guessing some ex employees are running a new scam. I just disputed this charge and am waiting for the outcome. If you call the main number of Suntec and someone answers stating they are taking over service contracts for past clients, it's a scam.

  We had solar panels installed last year. We were going to add solar panels. When there was NO communication as to an update when to expect the panels to be installed, I made a phone call to the salesman. No return call. I sent multiple text messages and phone calls to the salesman following the first call, still no return call or messages from him. I called the business phone numbers that I had from our previous dealings with the company. " The phone number you have reached has a voicemail box that is full. Goodbye." I finally got an answer......They are filing for bankruptcy. We paid in full due to the salesman told us that the price they were offering was only good for the day of the contract. Since we had done business with them before , we paid in full. WE WILL NEVER SEE THAT MONEY AGAIN. I'm talking about THOUSANDS of dollars. Actually, we are out almost $ 15,000. In order to submit this review, I didn't have a choice but to give them 1 star. I wished there were a zero star, needless to say.

  they are the worst company i have ever delt with they dont answer the phone they dont show uo for apointments if you can get one charge you400 dollars to come out to your house and then charge you 170 dollars an hour the solar only covers 20% of my ele .dont be fooled like i was im out 40.000 grand and still have an ele bill i so damn mad . im still waiting for them to come and fix it it could be a long time no show and dont call and tell you they cant make it nothing. just dont do it Rodney i would leave 0 stars if i could

  I have been trying since last week to get someone from this company to call me back to have my Solar Panels removed in order for my new roof to be installed. I keep on getting the same answer. They are sending a message and keep on being told that someone will reach out to me to schedule having my Solar Panels removed The main number is not in working order. Have to call the alternate number

  I would not use nor suggest anyone use Sun Tec.So much deceit and the amount of lies told by this company is compelling.This was supposed to be done by the end of 12/23. It's STILL NOT done!!!DON' USE THEM!

  This is a horrible company and what they promised is not what you get. My electric bill did not go down and did not work during the hurricane like we were promised it would. Never did they mention to purchasing a battery for storage, so I am still paying an electric bill and a solar panel loan. Rip off! After the 1st year they called for a service maintenance appointment. Two very young men, showed up with 2 buckets and a squeegee and when they left, rang the bell to advise they needed a check for ******. I said I am not paying that since the appointment was made there was never any mention of a fee! I told them come nc get their **** off my roof! I would love for others to get in a class action law suit regarding this company and their unethical sales tactics, not to mention the system doesnt work as promised.

  Everything on Sun-Tec's part so far has gone as promised. Only hold up however came from the county inspector and FPL meter installation. No problems so far and have receiver excellent response to all my questions.

  Im so over this **************** They have not lived up to their promises in their contract. They are impossible to contact, they dont respond to emails. They are just horrible. I have not received my first year check from them. They are the worst company I ever had to deal with. Theyre liars. No customer service at all.

  Had Sun tec Solar Energy install my system about 4 years ago. Since then I made maybe 3 service calls, and the charges were quite expensive. Tried for many weeks to set up a service call because Duke Energy says they receive just 165 kilowatt hours each month. ******* said would call me when there was an opening. Nope. I nagged constantly and even signed a maintenance contract to reduce a service call to maybe ****** ! 30 days went by and having not heard from *******, I called to cancel the service contract.Manager **** said I will be penalized ****** for cancelling. I said I did not even see a maintenance tech. Too bad, was the response. I have since decided to move away from Sun Tec and will easily find a better company not too busy to due a service call due to roof business.
