    First I would like to state I have had cornerstone for awhile at least 4 years. I liked them because they were friendly and fair in pricing for jobs. However, it has come to light that your must be in a certain income bracket now in order to be able to pay for services. I went thru and ensure that I have the parts for the job whatever it maybe. I understand I am paying for the tools and their license for which ever trade it may be from electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. Recently my bathroom fan quit. Now if left with no bathroom fan the humidity from showers can result in mold forming and worsening to serious health issues. I was quoted $500.00 for a bathroom fan replacement and parts provided. This is unreasonable in any regard. I cancelled the job and refused service. Speaking with the manager it was stated their prices are fair market value for the job. Who is paying more for a single fan. Cornerstone also provides a membership subscription, however, in order to cancel this you must send it in writing with the reason. That process is unreasonable complicated for a simple cancellation given that the phone lines when you call them are recorded for their protection and the customers. Several departments and no clear management in house to be able to handle issues you must wait for their call back. When I requested the price management for electrical it took until Monday for a call back and knowing the person was on call over the weekend. Simply put expect to pay high prices for service and ensure you have a large bank account to handle issues.

    On 12/2/2020 My daughter, at the recommendation of Cornerstone Pros, had them replace her heat pump with a new Daikin heat pump system. According to research the life expectancy of a heat pump is 15 to 20 years. On 1/2/2021 the system quit circulating heat and Conerstone Pros replaced the failed blower motor under full warranty. On 12/2/2021 Cornerstone Pros completed an annual maintenance check on the system. On 7/4/2022 Cornerstone Pros completed an annual maintenance check on the system. On 9/20/2023 the system began operating intermittently and the Cornerstone tech diagnosis was a faulty thermostat ( service call $49.00). On 9/23/2023 again intermittent operation and Cornerstone replaced the blower relay. On 7/2/2024 the system quit cooling and the Cornerstone tech recommended replacing the evaporator coil and the txv ($1750.00) and also some additional minor repairs ($468.75). My daughter sought a second opinion and this company replaced the txv which solved her problem. On 12/ /2024, 4 years after being installed the system again stopped circulating heat. She contacted Cornerstone on 1/9/2025 and the tech stated the blower motor was bad ($700.00) labor cost to replace. She is without heat in this unusually cold spell. In 4 years this new systems failures have cost her or Cornerstone Pros has recommened over $3200.00 in labor costs for these failures. I spoke with the Cornerstone ser.vice manager and was told these heat pumps are electro-mechanical systems and like cars experience problems. Car purchasers at least have a lemon law protecting the consumer. Heat pumps consumers are at the mercy of the installer and have no protection.

    RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT LET WEBSITE PHOTO FOOL YOU ON THEIR FLEET OF MANPOWER. I HAVE BEEN W/O AC FOR 9+ DAYS. THEY WERE CALLED DAY ONE. MAX'D MY CREDIT CARD FOR 10000.00 DOLLARS AND ALL WE HAVE IS "WAITING ONPART". IT'S UNDER WARRANTY, AIR HANDLER, ON A UNIT 6 YRS OLD PAID OFF. SO WHY 2121.00 FOR PARTS TO PATCH WHAT;S UNDER WARRANTY ??? IT TOOK 4 DAYS ABOUT TO OFFER US A PORTABLE UNIT WHICH IS BARELY BLOWING TEPID AIR. I HAVE PETS AND THEY; AS AM I; ARE QUITE SICK. THEY KNEW/KNOW THIS. SO WHY OVER 2 GRAND FOR PARTS AND HAVE NONE AFTER PAYING 10000.00 ......WE HAD TO CALL THEM DAYS AFTER "ESTIMATE" TO BE TOLD PARTS ON BACK ORDER. ??? NOT TELLING CUSTOMER YOU TOOK MONEY FROM??? WE ARE SEEKING 2 THINGS. A SECOND OPINION. GUESS THE OTHER...NO STARS. ONE H-A-S- TO BE LEFT. AND STILL NOT REPAIRED AS I WRITE THIS IN A 96 DEGREE HOUSE AT AGE 71 WITH SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES. WISH I'D READ MORE REVIEWS HERE. GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU CAN

    Proceeded with caution! Do not use this company unless you want to be out money that didn’t actually need spent and to have an enormous amount of inconvenience of them being in and out of your home an inordinate number of times AND to NOT solve your problem. The HVAC system was installed by Cornerstone approximately 3 years ago. In September of ‘23 the system wasn’t keeping the house at the set temperature (which it always had), so we called. A technician was sent out and he determined that the coolant pressure was a couple of pounds low and refilled it. We then had no problems until May of this year. Once again, the air conditioning was not keeping the house at the set temperature. We are not unreasonable, we set the temperature at 74° during the day and 71° at night. The first of 11, yes 11, visits the technicians, determined that our AC ducting was the culprit. That it needed replaced. The salesman came out spoke to my husband, explained everything, even talked to him about his allergies, and sold us new ducting with an ionic air cleaner, to the tune of $7200. We patiently waited for the ducting to be installed, and it seem to have been done well. Within two days we knew there was a problem, as once again the AC was not keeping the house cool. In the afternoons with the temperature still set at 74°, the house will get as hot as 84° with the system running constantly. Multiple visits later to include a new coil being installed for an additional $500 out of our pocket and more coolant being installed in the system - Just to have the air conditioning continue to not keep the house at the set temperature. We now have a loan and have drawn down our emergency funds for ducting that may or may not have actually needed changed and a new coil that is also not fixing the problem. We do not recommend using this company for any of your HVAC needs, at all. We have been getting nothing but a runaround and are now out $7700 with an AC unit that continues to not work.

    We have reached out to you. Several times. We have asked to speak to a manager/upper management multiple times- we do not get calls back. Again over the weekend a technician had to come out, as the system was again not working. This time at all and we spent the entire night at 86. Again the tech who arrived was friendly and professional, but again couldnt tell us what is wrong. So how about you reach out to us, you have our number.

    We have had Cornerstone take care of our A/C needs since 2006. We left another large company who nickeled and dimed us and didnt want to follow through with warranty work. We are so pleased with everyone and everything they have done for us over the years. We currrently have their service contract. They are very thorough and we appreciate that. Absolutely no complaints. No service tech is perfect because they are human but these techs are so very close. We love our Daikin units. We love having the bulb that cleanses the air as it passes thorough the handler.

    I purchased an iron filter and sediment filter for my well system for my home. BUYER BEWARE is definitely the key. I should have gotten several other companies quotes and input before I bought from Cornerstone Pros.. According two a couple of other companies I talked to I paid twice what I should have. I talked to the manager at Cornerstone Pros about why their costs were so high and why it was so expensive. He said because their costs were high. I did not believe that but he would do nothing about it anyway. I bought it on a Monday and called to get them to pick it up on Thursday and give me my money back to no avail. I did not get a product manufactures warranty for the equipment even though they said they were sending me one. Their isn't even a manufactures name on the iron filter or whole house filter. No information on the products at all. Just because they give you a veterans discount stay away from this company!

    I was charged a ridiculous amount for a service call where the technician removed a gasket from my fill valve. Nothing else. The technician was fabulous!The company policy on service calls for a Customer who has a home warranty is outrageous. I chose not to use my warranty as I had installed a bidet and it really wasnt a warranty issue. Eventually I was charged the $49 call fee and $151 for installation of my own toilet fill kit, which was NOT installed as it wasnt necessary. The removal of a gasket I could not see was the only issue. But It was better than $250 but not by much.

    I purchase an air condition machine that in one year breaks. The value paid for machine and installation was high and unfortunally not worthy. The installation was not done correctly additional work and visits required. It has been a year and machine broke. As I did not purchase the extended warranty additional money (high) required for the fix. Extended warranty was more expensive that car warranty.

We do offer the extended labor warranty through the manufacturer from the date of installation all the way through the first year of the unit being installed at the home and the pricing for this is set with the manufacturer directly for purchase. Based on the records of the ** unit we installed at your home there have been minimal visits to the property since the initial installation and no noted complaints of the unit not operating to your standards prior to this most recent visit. I do show that you have spoken with management and came to a mutual agreement for the installation of the part and hope that this is to your satisfaction.
