      Today is Thursday, February 3, 2022. Once again my Lakeland Ledger paper was not delivered. This has been occurring about twice a month for some time. I've called the automated 'customer service' line each and every time ...with no option to speak to a human being. In fact it is impossible to contact a human at the Ledger. The option for redelivery is not available. I did contact them via email and was given canned response that my complaint was being referred to the editorial dept. Really. Typically, no one reached out for resolution. The automated message states that my subscription will be extended, but I doubt the validity of that statement. On another note, over the holidays the Ledger 'combined' Thursday thru Saturday's issues into one issue to be delivered on Thursday. The Thursday edition was no larger in content or page quantity. Yet subscribers were told they would pay for three issues. This occurred for two weeks. A written complaint was issued only to be ignored. All I want is the delivery of the paper that I pay dearly for. Thank you for any help you can render.

We apologize for the frustration this has caused. Based on her account her last missed delivery was on 1/27/21. If her concerns are still going on, we ask that she let us know as soon as possible. Thank you. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I find it interesting the missed delivery of February 3 referenced in the complaint was not acknowledged by the Ledger. Plus the issue to charge customers for six issues while only physically delivering 2 was unaddressed. Let them know as soon as possible? Really? It is impossible to speak to a human. Typical canned response...I've lost all confidence in The Ledger's customer service.

      This letter is in follow up to my conversation today with***************** and Elsa at the Ledger advising that I dispute the outstanding balance in the amount of $140.94. In July, I advised a representative at the Ledger that I was not receiving my newspaper and requested that my account be closed since I was receiving the promised services. My last payment, check *****, covered services through July which I never received. No further deliveries were made, yet my account was auto-renewed in October without my permission. Now you are seeking payment in the amount of $140.94 for services I never received or approved, plus the months I paid for and never received. I have been a long time customer in good standing and respectfully request that this account balance be cleared and my good name restored. I am elderly and struggling with health issues while continually harassed by your collections department for services never rendered. Today, with the help of my daughter, I offered an additional $25 to settle this matter which was refused. I was repeatedly asked for a confirmation number which I was unable to provide, yet when I asked for a confirmation number for my call today, I was told that there wasn't one. This is my last attempt to resolve this matter which is being forwarded to the Better Business Bureau for help. Sincerely, ************

      I applied for the new paper to be delivered more than 2 weeks ago. Money was taken by ledger from card company.a week goes by no paper I called and told no one to deliver but alls well now I'll get paper starting next day . That never happened either . So I call again ledger decides for me they will deliver paper by mail . But homeland doesn't deliver mail let alone paper . Again I called again I'm told I'll get paper next morning . Never happened . Paper is for my 84 yo mom. She heard ledger employee say paper would be delivered next day thrown into yard . My mom has Dementia and walking circles in yard for paper that's never been delivered . Then I recieve a call from ledger about delivery he got it worked out on delivery will start next day tomorrow well tomorrow has yet to cone it'd been nearly 3 weeks and no paper just continual lies from ledger employees . And they've kept my money for delivery to home which we want back.

      Our paper has not been delivered since our return, July 15th. We have called The Ledger many times, and they said they would deliver it that day. Still no paper. They said they would credit us, but we just want what we are paying for. We pay by auto pay. So we never know if we are getting credit. Please can you help us.

      Beginning June 20,2021 I have a subscription to the Lakeland Ledger for Wednesday and Sunday delivery with an Auto Pay monthly. I have Not received a paper on either day since. I've called and recorded my complaint and asking for delivery, to no avail. I've spoke to a "real person" who has sent alert notices to carriers and managers, and finally on 7/14/21 again talked to a "real person" who was to pass this complaint on to the Circulation Dept.. As of today , 7/18/21, -once again NO Paper, a total of 5 weeks @ twice a week. NO PAPER! Someone else is getting my paper at my expense. Today I called and logged at least a dozen complaints until they disconnected me. Enough is enough! They've taken my money and tell me they are handling it-ha ha ha ha! To add insult to injury- they sent a letter to inform me that the price is increasing- for what??!!I can't even get it delivered. Please help!
