Have had 3 different separate issues with this company lying, trying to trick you, hiding issues they KNOW about with their bikes hoping youll buy it first. Theyll lie just to get you in store. If you leave a review they WILL text you basically telling you its your fault. *** also seen them publicly reply to other reviews accusing them as well. These people are just shady and not to be trusted! They are not good people!

I took my rim there to get a tire changed out and they lost a spacer that goes in between my rim, so when the rim was put back on the bike it damaged other parts now I'm stuck with the damage bill

Customer brought just the wheel to the dealership to have the tire changed. Our Dealership did not un-install or install the wheel back on the motorcycle. This is 100% customers responsibility, not our dealership.

    Thank you,

    Jeff L****

The wheel spacers are separate from the wheel. The customer brought just the wheel to us to change the tire. It is the customer responsibility to keep track of there wheel spacers since they were the ones to take the wheel off there motorcycle and re-install it them selves. This is 100% on the person who took the wheel off and put it back on. We will not be assisting in any cost of repairs.

    Thank you, Jeff L****

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: the wheel spacer was lost at skypowersports not at the place where wheel was taken off, how is that the fault of person putting wheel back on. Sky power sports where the ones that lost the spacer for the wheel, which was later found on the technicians work area at skypowersports......

    Sincerely,

Placed a $1000.00 deposit on a Sea Doo watercraft in May of this year. Was told it would be delivered in August and it has yet to be delivered. Requested my deposit returned as I am active duty military and have now relocated and cannot use the watercraft. Dan the Manager has refused the return of my deposit.

    Thank you

Consumer special ordered a 2022 Sea-Doo Switch Boat. He knowingly signed a legal document stating that is was a $1,000.00 no refundable deposit at time of order. His boat is being shipped this month and his order could not be canceled. We do have all proper legal documentation that he signed.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/10/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
    Sir/Ma'am,

The response from Sky Powersports of Lakeland is inaccurate. I have attached conversations between myself and a representative of this organization. I have never placed a special order for a product from them, and would ask for evidence of this. This is a clearly wrong information. The "legal" contract is questionable as this organization has not specified how long they will hold the product, as required by Florida law nor has any representative from this organization countersigned such contract. Also, as referenced in the communication attached, I was told the product would be here in July which is clearly inaccurate by their own statement. BRP, who manufactures this product has stated refunds should be returned due to delays in supply chains on their website under FAQs. As you can see in the communication this boat was already ordered and appears to have been canceled by another party.

Again, I am active duty military and have relocated since and no longer can use the product. IAW, section 501.976, Florida Statutes, states "Whether you are accepting a deposit to hold a unit for a customer who is supposed to return within a certain period of time to go through with the sale, or if you are filling a special order for a customer, you must "clearly and conspicuously" disclose under what conditions the deposit is refundable or nonrefundable." Additionally, "Require or accept a deposit from a prospective customer prior to entering into a binding contract for the purchase and sale of a vehicle unless the customer is given a written receipt that states how long the dealer will hold the vehicle from other sale and the amount of the deposit, and clearly and conspicuously states whether and upon what conditions the deposit is refundable or nonrefundable. Neither was ever accomplished rendering the contract void.

If in the near future we cannot come to an agreement I will likely be forced to file a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office and seek civil penalties.

This is a clear example of a organization engaging in unfair and deceptive practices. Furthermore, the one time management did call me, as I had requested, to discuss the refund I was abruptly hung up on. This is bullying at its purest form and especially bothersome for active duty military. I would also push this case to JAG offices in Florida for possible black listing of this organization so that no other member of the armed forces experiences this same situation with this organization.

These are all actions I'd rather not proceed with and only request the organization refund my deposit of $1000.00 soonest.

    Very Respectfully

I wanted to purchase a motorcycle from Sky Powersports, Lakeland. I liked the bike, and gave a refundable deposit on a credit card to hold it until my hubby could go wrap up the deal the next day. The next day, he went but we did not proceed with the transaction because the amount offered for the trade was a third less than we expected based on their website. That day they were told to refund the deposit to the card. Five days later I see the charge is on my card. I called and spoke to the salesperson who is apparently not happy I made a one star review on Google. He said they already sold the bike to someone else. When I asked for him to credit my card or I would have to dispute it with my card company he said I should go that route of disputing it with my card company. This is no way in line with the original explanation that it was a refundable deposit to hold the bike, if we proceed with the purchase it goes towards the purchase of the bike. I want my $500 credited back to the card. There were no goods or services rendered. This was a terrible consumer experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.

Here is my response to ****** Google review, which explains the real story. She was refunded here deposit as soon as she confirmed that she did not want the vehicle.

    ******,
As a valued customer, I apologize if we were unable to meet your expectations. On our website we offer the J.D. Power a trade-in Estimator. This is a third party company that helps customers see an estimate of what market values are on their vehicle. As it states, it's just an estimate. If I recall correctly, The trade-in estimator gave you an estimate for your trade from $4,905 to $6,225 depending on inspection. After your husband brought the bike down and we inspected the vehicle, we made a final offer of $5,500 for your vehicle. Your Husband did not accept the offer on your behalf and proceeded to leave. Because you weren't here that day your sales representative called to follow up with you to see if you still wanted the bike or wanted a refund on your deposit. When you called him back and let him know that you did not want the bike he had your deposit refunded back to your credit card. We were honest and upfront with you through this whole process and unfortunately we could not come to agreement on your trade. I only wish you the best and truly hope you find the right vehicle for you.

    Sincerely, Jeff L****
