    ***** failed to begin work on contract and failed to return $2,000.00 deposit. ***** advised he had been in prison and was behind in his work and asked for another six months delay. I requested refund of deposit but he refused. Expensive ****** learned.

    We contacted *****'s Cabinets and Tile LLC through an ad in the ************* that was delivered to our home in the mail in January 2024. My husband communicated with ***** through text and phone calls, and ***** came to the house to show him samples and give an estimate on a fireplace wall install in February 2024. ***** told my husband that the job would take 1-2 days and that he would be at our house by 9 am to get the job started on Feb. 14 2024. He required all payment up front. ***** arrived at noon or later on Feb *****, and the job was not completed. *****'s helper arrived before he did. He is not as skilled as ***** doing the work. They left everyday before 6 p.m. with minimal work done. By Feb. 17, the tile was almost completed, but the ** was not mounted properly, a tile was missing at the bottom of the wall, and tiles were cracked above where the mantle was supposed to go. The mantle was never delivered or installed. ***** took pictures before he left for the day even though the job was not completed. He was supposed to come back to complete the job on Feb. 20 by installing the mantle, securing the fireplace that was propped up on tiles only, adjusting the **, and adding the missing tile to the bottom of the wall. He did not return, giving excuses, and then stopped responding to my husband. We had to go to Floor and Decor to buy a box of tile to finish the areas of the wall not completed and had to order a mantle from Wayfair. I spoke with ***** from the ************* on 2/29/24, and she said she had another complaint about ***** recently and contacted BBB about this business also. She said you can call her to verify this if you need to. We have photos that we can mail to your office. The files are too large to upload. We are requesting a refund of $650 for the mantle that was never delivered, tiles we had to buy, a mantle we had to purchase, our time finishing the tile on the wall, securing the fireplace, and readjusting the ** mount ourselves.

    I contracted with **************** from *****'s Cabinets and Tiles LLC in early 2023 to install a closet and bathroom cabinets. I started making payments in April 2023. I paid in full for the closet (approx. $6,800) and had a final payment of about $600 left once the bathroom cabinets were completed. **************** finally came to start work at my house in early June 2023. He only installed part of the closet, and even sent me a video detailing the elements of the job that he would have to complete upon his return (drawers, accessory racks, hanger racks, etc.). He never came back to finish the job. I even offered to pick up the materials he had ordered to have someone else finish the job. I now know he received the bathroom vanity/cabinet materials from the vendor and just never came to install them. I tried to contact **************** multiple times, and every time he would go weeks without getting back to me until he would respond with a new excuse. I have not heard from him since August of 2023.

    Jorge installed a wall, fireplace and lighted floating lights. Within a year the lights stopped working and after several requests, still never came to resolve. We discovered the floating shelves were installed incorrectly. One shelf as already fallen off the wall twice as he only uses glue to hold them up! They all will collapse over time damaging not only the shelves themselves but items on the shelves. We asked him to reinstall them properly, and he ignored us. We request he come and reinstall all the shelves properly and fix the lights.

    On the day of October 1st, 2022 I signed a contract with Jorges Cabinets and Tile to remodel my kitchen. The contract stated that I would pay in three parts, last payment due at the end of the 1st day of the installation of the cabinets. All the payments have been made but the person did not show up to finish the work. Multiple calls and text messages sent to this person but he stopped answering.
