His excuses are MANY like: his girlfriend cut the tip of her finger off and he was at the hospital with her waiting to find out if she needed surgery. Or when his girlfriend returned home, **** ***** then needed to help her with cooking and cleaning meaning more time away from our fence installation. Or he had to move in with his girlfriend because he lost his home in Wellington due to his wife getting the house in the divorce settlement.
I found **** ***** because my neighbor had a fence installed by him and I liked it, so I asked for his business card. We signed a contract with ***** ***** in March 2021 to build a 300 ft fence with gates. HE STOLE OUR DEPOSIT OF $3,500. He and his daughter and her husband partially removed the old fencing but left a mess everywhere and never returned.
Later I found out he asked my neighbor for a positive review of his fence with photos to share with his new customer in Delray Beach. My neighbor asked **** if he had completed my fence and he said no he was waiting on me to contact him after I pulled the permits and I made the drawings (note: we hired and paid **** to do this for us). There has been no more contact with **** ***** nor money returned as of December 2021.
We met with The Village of Palm Springs Zoning Department who told us that there were no permits pulled or drawings submitted by **** *****. He has never pulled a permit in Palm Springs, FL. However, the state building inspector was very interested in how ***** ***** does business in Florida without a contractor's license and paid at premium rates.
DON'T GET SUCKED INTO HIS LIES. He professes to be a ********* and will pray with you while you're undergoing chemotherapy like I was! He took advantage of my situation and caused a financial hardship.
