Whenever I go to this dealership for an oil change I always get teamed up with a representative named *** *******. For some reason I have to constantly make sure that Im going to get SYNTHETIC OIL because he automatically sets up the oil change using regular oil despite every recommendation for Toyotas saying that synthetic oil is the best. I travel with this car back and forth to ******** every month and I go to countless Toyota Dealerships along the east coast for service and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM automatically use synthetic oil unless the car owner specifically requests otherwise. This morning, 27 November 2024, I went to the dealership, Earl Stewart Toyota, for an oil change and once again I was teamed up with *** *******. Having had problems with him about ensuring that synthetic oil is going to be used I told him at the start upon meeting him that I wanted and synthetic oil.He went through the paperwork routine and mentioned the wipers and several other things and just as I was about to sign the paper to have the work done I mentioned the synthetic oil and *** said:Oh, you want synthetic oil? Hold on, let me put that in the *********** that point, I just took my key and left the premises. I go to Toyota dealerships for oil changes and service knowing I will pay more but expecting professional service. *** ******* behaves like the employee at ********** or some mediocre, poorly run private auto shop in the dusty industrial area of town.If I had assumed that he heard me when I mentioned synthetic oil several times I wouldve had regular oil put into my car without knowing it and I wouldve driven 5000 miles thinking I had synthetic. Thats not something that I take lightly because I dont want to be paying for major repairs prematurely as the result of some unprofessional employee who works for an establishment where not only professionalism is expectedBUT PAID EXTRA FOR.

I ordered a top-of-the-line 2023 Sienna Platinum AWD in April of '23. I was told it might be ***** months before delivery. With this information I was told I may end up getting a 2024. Over the course of the next 12 months I received zero phone calls, emails, or texts. Our salesman could NOT answer delivery questions so I had to deal with the Sales Manager (****). My wife and I had to reach out to him to request updates on the order status. In January 2024 our call told us that the vehicle would likely be delivered in April. Calling them again in April they told us it would now be the third week in May. After exceeding the delivery date another call to the same manager we were told that delivery would now be ***** We finally got a call regarding the vehicle arriving at the shipping port and that within 10 days it would be delivered. This did NOT happen and the sales manager would not speak with us when we called. Our salesman informed us a mistake had been made and that the Sienna would now be delivered in July. Our next call was made to the sales manager three days before the identified delivery date. We were told it would be delivered in the next 72 hours and they would call when it arrived. Four days later we called again because of not receiving a call. We were told that it MIGHT be another day or two before arrival. They provided us with the details of our car; VIN number, build accessories, and price. What we discovered was the identified vehicle did NOT contain the options we had ordered and were adamant about needing. 15 Months of waiting with little, IF ANY, customer courtesy, If there was less than a 1 star rating I would have chosen it. After receiving the last info we contacted another dealer and are scheduled to get our Sienna in less than a month. **** Stewart may offer good pricing due to their MSRP and the no delivery fees sales pitch but if the vehicles are not readily available to purchase I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.

While I won't deny that the folk over at Earl Stewart Toyota are fairer than almost all the dealerships in ** (granted, that isn't a hard standard to beat), i feel some of them are finding slippier ways to low ball people. My salesperson was cool, but the guy who appraised my car for trade in offered to get it off of me for 20k, despite other sites stating 22k. KBB wouldn't list my exact year so he went a year before and that was his reason for going 20k. ******, one of their motto's is "We don't sell above MSRP" yet they have the car i traded in at 25k, despite actual MSRP being 22k. I understand the 20k is without adding taxes into the equation, but my point still stands To clarify so it doesn't confuse people, my salesperson was direct, good and tried to do what he could get my car at a higher praise. It was the appraiser and his bosses that I feel low balled me.
