Used Best Friends for years. Always recommended them to others. That all changed tonight. I have a pup w/severe allergies. They had it noted, but never followed them (especially the last few months). Managers apologized but more of the same. Two weeks ago pick up my pups & the one has a huge dark red chemical rash/burn on her but & leg. Again apologies, notes made and promises. Tonight, go pick them up & you know it, another chemical burn/rash. There was also a question about missing med (but check in agent told us that she collected 2 not 1.5). We figured it out & I apologized for that (we didn't notice that though the agent said she collected 1.5 she said she took 2. Fully my fault). But, back from the first burn case the manager said because of my pup's allergies that they could just clean their room w/water only. We all agreed. But, at check in we verified that the pups were to go into one room because it was cleaned w/water only. Nope!!! Wasn't cleaned at all & per the agent they were putting our pups into rm cleaned w/chemicals. Per check in agent, that's their rm & they will be fine. As stated allergy pup got burned & had a rash. They apologized again, refunded the money but now suggest we take our pups elsewhere because they can't guarantee this won't happen again!!! Really?!?! After being reassured that my pups would be safe because they could very easily clean w/water. So their manager (Bailey makes promises, but the team fails to honor them). My pup suffers, we have to scramble to find a new pet care. I'm heartbroken because as stated we have used this company for years. Now, a pet w/allergies is too much for them apparently & they refuse to honor their promises.
