On 9/27/22 my home was destroyed by Hurricane ***. After my insurance claim was processed I proceeded to purchase a lot & new modular unit from Central Mobile Homes, Inc. I presented my proposed lot location to **************** so that his company could begin the **************** Due Dillegence. He informed me that all was good for the new home to be built on this ******* purchased the lot on 11/28/2022 based on his advice to purchase. I then began the permit process. I personally paid for all environmental surveys for septic, wetland surveys, tortoise excavation, & permit fees. This process took until 6/2023 to complete. After which I was informed by the county that the excavation that had been completed under his supervision was in violation of County envormental laws. To further complicate matters, ******************** staff person, *************************** was informed by the County upon trying to secure a permit for the home that after zoning review on 7/21/2023 that "Mobile Homes are NOT permitted in Residential Single Family zoning".In the meantime, I had made the final decision on my new modular home & paid a deposit on 2/20/2023 of $30,221.21. As of today, 5/16/2024 I have yet to receive any refund of my deposit or any refunds of monies paid to purchase & proceed with permits on a lot that **************** advised was within the county zoning laws to build a modular/mobile home on. This man also displayed abusing behavior toward myself in front of my *************** own employee (******) by throwing phone at me during a meeting. He has no business being in business.
