I rented a golf cart on 9/27/22 from Coastal Cart Rentals through ******** for $209.63. I paid using my credit card. Rental was for 11/18-11/20/22 for $50.00 per day. On 11/14 I called to confirm delivery promise. On 11/17/22 ***** stated he will be delivering product and got my delivery address. The day went by and no delivery and no response from ***** via email and text on 11/18. I left voice mail messages with no return call or anything. On 11/21l22 I finally was able to contact ***** who stated that I was refunded for the rental due to not being able to deliver golf cart. Today is 12/7/22 and I called my credit card company to ask about stated credit and their is no credit from The rental company. I contacted the rental company via text and was told it takes 3- days for a square refund. See messages uploaded below. ***** threatened to take me to court for defamation of character and asked for my address. ***** also followed through with fake inaccurate accusations accusing me of threats to come to his house when I told him I will be reporting him to the Authorities. I called ********************* Fort Wilderness Lodge Resort camp ground and they are not familiar with Coastal Cart Rentals at all, as they stated they have rentals within their property that they manage and own. This company needs to be investigated and if they are not legit, I ask that they be removed from ******** advertisement page of their products and other sites, so that they don't mislead other consumers. They are registered with Sunbiz sine 1/3/22 effective date, however they have been advertising their business on FB since August 3, 2020 as it appears. Furthermore square refunds should take anywhere from 2-7 days and not 30 days stated from ***** the husband of the wife *************************** who owns the business. Please investigate this company to see if they are legit and refund me my money asap.(Defamation of character)***** stated he a legit company and have been doing golf cart rental for years.
