  I am filing a complaint against Go Life Savers, LLC, located at *****************************************, regarding a recent AHA certification course I attended.When I booked the class, the address shown appeared as a national headquarters/public professional building on ****** Maps, which gave the impression of a formal training facility. However, the course was actually held inside a private residence, which was misleading and not clearly disclosed at the time of ********** addition, the training quality was far below expectations and not as described:The majority of the session consisted of watching videos, with very little live instruction.The First Aid section was less than an hour, only covered how to give an injection and remove gloves, with no hands-on practice for other required skills.The instructor rushed through the content, and I left the class without feeling more confident or prepared to perform CPR or First Aid. The course description promised a structured, instructor-led class with meaningful skills practice. This was not delivered.I paid for professional *** training, but what I received was not consistent with what was advertised or expected. I am therefore requesting a refund of my course fee $220.

  Good afternoon, this complaint is indeed very interesting. Thank you for sharing. We have been operating under the proper guidelines since 2001, adhering to the standards of the **************************, ******************, ****************************, and the Health and **************** the entire time.
  
  Thank you for your insight and feedback. We teach to the standard of the **************************. I am faculty with the ************************** and I assure you ******* taught to the standard she is called to in this specific class. *** certification classes are indeed to be instructor-led and video driven. After a thorough investigation of this situation, I have found the instructor indeed utilized the AHA Instructor-Led Classroom Curriculum as encouraged by the ***. In addition, all students in this class were asked verbally if they would like to view the content more, receive more hands-on practice, and if they felt confident in their skills. All participants provided feedback that they were indeed satisfied with the instruction provided and additional hands-on practice was provided when necessary. In addition, each participant expressed they indeed were confident in their skills.
  
  I see this specific participant did not purchase the Provider Manual or Student Workbook for the course. The manuals/student workbook covers everything in its entirety and aids the participant's understanding of the content covered during the Hands-On portion of the In-Classroom Experience. We did and do strongly recommend the purchase the of the AHA *** Provider manual and the AHA Heartsaver First Aid student workbooks at the time of registration. Those two resources cover all classroom items/content in the picture and written word format.

  I am saddened the participant felt the information was misleading. 
  
  We do have a network of AHA *** and Heartsaver instructors in our network throughout ***************** and Internationally. Therefore, it is considered our national headquarters, but as you can see in the notes above, it is also our home office as well - located in a residential neighborhood.
  
  We invited this specific participant and encouraged them to come back and attend an upcoming class and receive additional practice and knowledge. After all, it always benefits to get additional knowledge and practice. We do want all participants to feel confident in their skills and offer this second mile service to all of our participants at this location. I know ******* would not have let this participant, nor any other for that matter, leave the class without being confident in their ability and skills.

  Again, we are truly saddened this participant's expectations were not met. However, rest assured this participant received the appropriate training and received the correct AHA certification cards for the registered course during the class.

  Reschedule and Cancellation Policy
  In order to respect health, safety, classroom space, and other participant's schedules, the following has been set: If a scheduling conflict should occur, for a participant or group who is joining an already scheduled course, participant(s) will be able to reschedule (no refund(s) will be given). Participants will be able to reschedule up to 90 days from their originally scheduled class date. This includes all Certification Classes scheduled through Go Life Savers, LLC and applies to all courses we teach. In other words, all courses and sessions are included. Should the participant(s) reschedule two times and not show up for the 3rd scheduled course or simply choose not to attend a scheduled course, the participant will forfeit the payment for the course at that time. At which time, the registrant would simply need to complete a new registration to participate in an upcoming certification class.
  

  *Please note a registrant will be able to reschedule two times for up to 90 days from originally scheduled class date. I, the participant, acknowledge and understand, Refunds Are Not Provided.
  

  All certification cards are now eCards. Participant agrees to keep track of their ***** account information in order to return to and retrieve their eCard(s). Participant agrees to use the Find My Claimed eCard link to access their previously claimed *****(s). Participant understands from time to time purchased item(s) may need to be mailed.   Go Life Savers, LLC Liability Waiver: 
  
  For and in consideration of good and valuable consideration, including, but not limited to, *** AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Stop the Bleed instruction and certification, the receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged hereby, I hereby waive my rights to all claims for injuries that I may sustain arising out of the *** AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Stop the Bleed instruction or any subsequent activities arising therefrom. I further agree to hold harmless Go Life Savers, LLC for all injuries, be them physical, fiscal or otherwise, that I may inflict upon others as a result of the *** AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Stop the Bleed instruction. 
  
  By completing my registration, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury involved in attending a *** AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Stop the Bleed instruction course, and I agree to assume the full risk of injuries, including death, damages or losses which I may sustain as a result of attending a course of *** AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Stop the Bleed instruction with Go Life Savers, LLC.   Please note: To keep participants and instructors safe and healthy, our class calendars and training schedules may have changed. We will make every attempt to accommodate your *** AED, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Stop the Bleed certification needs through the safest means possible.
  
  1. Authority to Register and/or to Act as Agent. You represent and warrant to Go Life Savers, LLC that you have full legal authority to complete this event registration on behalf of yourself and/or any party you are registering (the Registered Parties), including full authority to make use of the credit or debit card to which registration fees will be charged. As used in this Agreement and Waiver, Go Life Savers, LLC refers to Go Life Savers, LLC and any and all subsidiaries, affiliated entities, or entities that control or are controlled by Go Life Savers, LLC singly or together and its officers, employees, contractors, subcontractors and agents. 
  
  If you are registering a child under the age of 18 or an incapacitated adult you represent and warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of that party and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on their behalf and by proceeding with this event registration, you agree that the terms of this Agreement and Waiver shall apply equally to all Registered Parties. By registering a child under 13, you agree and consent to the collection of that childs information which you provide for the purposes of registration. 
  
  2. Waiver. 
  
  YOU UNDERSTAND THAT PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT IS POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS, AND THAT A REGISTERED PARTY SHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE UNLESS THEY ARE MEDICALLY ABLE AND PROPERLY TRAINED. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT EVENTS MAY BE HELD OVER PUBLIC ROADS AND FACILITES OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DURING THE EVENT AND UPON WHICH HAZARDS ARE TO BE EXPECTED. PARTICIPATION CARRIES WITH IT CERTAIN INHERENT RISKS THAT CANNOT BE ELIMINATED COMPLETELY RANGING FROM MINOR INJURIES TO CATASTROPHIC INJURIES INCLUDING DEATH. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IN CONSIDERATION OF BEING PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT, YOU AND ANY REGISTERED PARTY, THE HEIRS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES OR ASSIGNS OF YOU OR THE REGISTERED PARTY DO HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND CONVENANT NOT TO SUE SUREFIRE *** FOR ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT BY YOU OR ANY REGISTERED PARTY. 
  
  3. Limitation of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties. 
  
  GO LIFE SAVERS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM (A) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE GO LIFE SAVERS, LLC OR (B) FOR THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES OR (C) RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH GO LIFE SAVERS, LLC OR (D) RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE, EVEN IF GO LIFE SAVERS, LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT USE OF GO LIFE SAVERS, LLC IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. GO LIFE SAVERS, LLC IS PROVIDED ON AN AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE BASIS. GO LIFE SAVERS, LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. 
  
  Go Life Savers, LLC makes no warranty that the Go Life Savers, LLC sites; services will be uninterrupted, secure or error free. Go Life Savers, LLC does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information in, or provided in connection with, the Go Life Savers, LLC site. Go Life Savers, LLC is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the results obtained from the use of such information. You understand and agree that any material and/or data downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Go Life Savers, LLC sites is at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your own computer system or loss of data that results from the download of such material and/or data. 
  
  4. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold each of Go Life Savers, LLC harmless from and against any and all damages, costs, claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys fees, made by any third party due to or arising from or relating to your use of Go Life Savers LLCs services. 
  
  5. Applicable Law; Consent to Jurisdiction. The Go Life Savers, LLC sites (excluding linked sites) are controlled by Go Life Savers, LLC from its offices within the ****************, ************************. By completing this event registration, both you and Go Life Savers, LLC agree that the statutes and laws of the State of Florida, without regard to the conflict of laws principles thereof, will apply to all matters relating to this event registration, this Agreement and Waiver, the Terms of Use or other use of the Go Life Savers, LLC sites. You agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with Go Life Savers, LLC resides in the courts of the State of Florida and you further agree and expressly consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction in the courts of the State of Florida in connection with any dispute including any claim involving Go Life Savers, LLC or its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, contractors, officers, directors, telecommunication providers and content providers. 
  
  6. Severability. You further expressly agree that this Agreement and Waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of Florida and that if any provision of this Agreement and Waiver shall be found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and Waiver and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. 
  
  BY COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION, YOU ARE INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT AND WAIVER, YOU ARE AFFIRMING THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE SIGNING THE AGREEMENT AND WAIVER FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY, AND INTEND BY YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
