I am writing to urgently report the alarming and unethical conduct of All Hooked Up Towing, based in **************, *******. On March 15, 2025, they were contracted by the ********************** to tow my mothers abandoned and seemingly stolen vehicle. Instead of properly securing it, they sold it as quickly as possible without following required legal procedures. All Hooked Up Towing exploited my late mother, ***** *****, while she was hospitalized and incapacitated. During her hospitalization, they illegally sold her vehicle in direct violation of Florida Statute *******, which governs lien enforcement and vehicle sales.Their violations include:Failure to file any documentation or certificate of compliance with the St. Lucie County Clerk of Court.Failure to notify the insurance company.Failure to publish any public notice of sale in a local newspaper or equivalent.Failure to obtain a returned receipt from their certified letter; my mother never signed or received documentation due to ****************** personal effort to notify my mother or family despite prior service to the vehicle and having her address.Rapid and improper sale of the car, which had no liens and was easily retitled and sold.Refusal to provide any documentation or transparency regarding the sale, met with hostility and verbal abuse when I requested information. They also appear to have shared my phone number with spam services, causing harassment.I reported these violations to the ************************************, but despite repeated requests, they refused to enforce the laws, leaving me without recourse to challenge the unlawful sale or recover the vehicle. All Hooked Up Towing acted with reckless disregard for the law and basic decency. This raises serious concerns about how many othersparticularly vulnerable seniorshave been similarly exploited.Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.

      Business Response

      Date: 08/07/2025

      Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am writing on behalf of All Hooked Up Towing & Recovery to formally respond to the ongoing harassment and unfounded claims made by ***** ****.
Ms. **** has repeatedly contacted and harassed our staff regarding a vehicle that once belonged to her late mother. The ************************************ has reviewed all of our paperwork related to this vehicle and found no wrongdoing on our part. We strictly follow all legal protocols in accordance with Florida law, including sending proper notices, publishing auction information online, and adhering to the lien process when vehicles are left unclaimed.
It is not our responsibility to track down vehicle owners who abandon or fail to claim their vehicles. We follow due process, and this case was no different. Ms. **** has no legal ownership or rights to this vehicle, and she only took interest in it after her mothers passingmonths after the vehicle had already been processed.
Unfortunately, she has continued to harass our employees and damage our reputation by creating multiple fake ****** accounts to leave false and misleading reviews. We believe she is improperly channeling her grief and frustration toward our business, despite our full compliance with the law.
We have never encountered such persistent and hostile behavior from someone who is not even the legal owner of the vehicle in question. We respectfully request that this complaint be closed in our favor, and that the ongoing harassment by Ms. **** be acknowledged for what it isbaseless and damaging.

This company made a charge on my credit card for $1462.50 and I have never used this company. Nor do I live in ******* where this company is. I called the company and spoke to a man who said he would pass the message onto the billing lady and she would call me back. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. I called *********** and reported it as a fraud charge also. I see they have bad ratings. I would like a credit from them ASAP.

      Business Response

      Dear Better Business Bureau,
This message is in response to a complaint involving a fraudulent charge on ****** ******** credit card.
While Ms. ******** card was unfortunately used in a fraudulent transaction, we want to make it clear that All Hooked Up Towing & Recovery was not involved in any wrongdoing. We sent a payment link as part of a standard billing process, and an unauthorized party used her card to make the payment.
We have attempted to contact Ms. ******* five times to explain the situation and express our willingness to cooperate. Furthermore, the ************************************ is actively involved in investigating this matter under case number 2025-72953.
In addition, we are not disputing Ms. ******** claim with our credit card processing company. We are fully cooperating with all parties to resolve this situation appropriately.
Please feel free to reach out if you need any additional information.
