Refund and Exchange Policy

Standard Cancellation (24 Hours):

I may cancel my moving estimate and receive a 100% refund of my deposit if I do so within 24 hours of reserving the move.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and include the job number located in the top right corner of the estimate.

Partial Refund (After 24 Hours):

If customer cancels after 24 hours but no later than 21 days before the scheduled move date, customer will receive 60% of the deposit as a refund. The remaining 40% will be retained for administrative expenses involved in acquiring & reserving customers move details.

Non-Refundable Deposits (Within 14 Days):

If customers move is scheduled within 14 days of the move date, customer deposit becomes automatically non-refundable.

Non-Refundable

An estimate/order may not be canceled and deposits are not refundable after the mover has begun the physical moving services, including but not limited to: packing, loading, storage, transportation to and from the pick-up or delivery address, etc. Moving services may not begin until the contract for service (Bill of Lading) is signed by the customer authorizing the mover to begin services. In the event of a State of Emergency of any kind including but not limited to government or state ordered quarantine that would prohibit Garage House Moversfrom completing our services, Customer agrees to be rescheduled until said emergency or hold has been lifted.
