    Date December 2024 Company didn't complete the job and I was overcharged. Company sent me a letter stating there's a lien on my home. I did pay them $6000 by check that stated paid n full which they cashed. They're requesting a remainder balance that will total ******. I was never aware of the cost though I asked before the job started on many occasions. After I signed the ******** the price appeared of ****** I then canceled the transaction through Foundation Finance also my application as of December 13, 2024. I am a Senior Citizen who feels I'm being taken advantage of. I've paid my debt and ask that the lien be removed and to be treated fairly im a retired Senior Citizen being taken advantage of by this company. Please look into this matter, thanks in Advance. I don't want this happening to any Senior Citizen.

    Mrs. ******** signed a detailed sales agreement on 8/28/2024, and also signed a finance agreement for the same amount on the same day with our finance partner, Foundation Finance. The price of $14,330.00 was expressly listed on both agreements. Mrs. ******** was fully aware of the contract amount at that time. This was a 100% finance job, so no deposit was required at that time.

    The installation was completed fully on 12/2/2024. Mrs. ******** ignored several of our calls and Foundation Finance calls to complete the final payment process. After several attempts, Mrs. ******** had her daughter call our office, where she stated that they could only afford $6,000 and that "we could not dictate what senior citizens pay despite what the contract read." Mrs. ******** the falsely told Foundation Finance that the job was canceled and had never been started.

    A $6,000.00 check was sent, which was applied to the outstanding invoice. No further payment attempts were made. Simply writing "Paid in full" in the notes section of a check does not mean the contract was satisfied.

    We turned collection processes over to our collections partner, ***** Asset Recovery, and processed a lien on the property. We have not been contacted by Mrs. ******** regarding this lien, nor has she answered any calls or communication from ***** Asset Recovery. 

    This complaint is a case of someone simply trying to get out of a legally binding contract and get out of paying a contractually agreed amount for a job that has been completed. Mrs. ********* statements are complete lies. We have the contractual proof that will stand up in court. The owners of this company are also senior citizens and have completed hundreds of jobs for senior citizens.

    Legal actions will be filed against Mrs. ******** should this go on further, which will result in Mrs. ******** paying the past due amount, late fees of 1.5% a month, collection fees, and all attorney fees and court costs. As is our legal right, the lien will remain in place until the terms of the signed contract are satisfied in full.

    Worst company ever! I hired Five Star Bath Solutions of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast to remove an existing walkin tub and replace it with a new jetted tub. They did not show up the first day that work was to begin and did not have the courtesy to call me and say they weren't coming. That was the beginning of long and on going headaches wit this company! When they did arrive to begin work they came with a shower pan base instead of a bath tub. The worker did not speak English so he claimed he didn't understand what the job was that he was suppose to do. The job was on going with many different workers showing up, often NOT showing up at all. There was never any supervision, none of the many workers that came and went had a clear understanding of what needed to be done. The company owner, ****, said this job would be completed in TWO days! It went on and on for a month! Many times workers arrived late and left early, often running down to ********** to get materials that they did not have with them to do the job! Several times workers showed up without me knowing! My many calls and emails to the ownner, ****, went unanswered! The owners wife, *****, told me in a text message that they had workers that were stealing materials meant for my job, and were homeless, drug users! And I was letting these people in to my house! I feared for my safety! I finally ended the job with them leaving a tub faucet hanging out of the wall that their best plumber, ****. installed. I offered to pay them a fair portion of the remaining balance of the Invoice, compensating me for my stress, appointments that I had to cancel to accomodate their untimly work schedule, and aggravation. They are threatening to lien my property if I don't pay the full amount of the Invoioce!
