On January 28, 2023 I purchased a used stove from Carver's Used Appliances at **** **** **** ** ************* ** ***** in the amount of $525. The stove was $450 and the additional $75 was for deliver, installation, and removal of my old stove. The delivery man did not install the stove, and he asked for an additional $20 to take my old stove away. The stove's baking function doesn't work properly. The owner told me the stove I bought, GE he said, was probably a few years old. Because the oven wasn't working, I searched for a model number and found this stove was 11 years old and a Samsung. For more than 10 days, I've called the store, left voice messages, left messages with the owners employees, and went to the store in person to try and have a conversation with the owner who is avoiding me from discussing a resolution.

******* called the shop asking if we had any stoves saying she's selling her house and wanted a nicer stove. She came in and looked at them and liked the one she bought. Everything was fine until the delivery guy did not install the right cord and charged 20 dollars to remove her old stove. I offered a refund for the work he didn't do and for charging her to remove the old stove and she was fine with that.

I had a death in the family and left town to be with relatives and the funeral. While I've been gone she's calling the shop numerous times. I instructed my staff to let her pick out a newer stove and she's supposed to pick one. She's still saying that she is going to right bad reviews and slander my business even if she is satisfied.

5/5/21, we purchased a used refrigerator from Caver's Used Appliances. It was supposed to be white and in good working order. The cost was $350 delivered to rental property. The receipt stated "One White Fridge", "30 day warranty" and $50 delivery fee. The refrigerator delivered was beige, filthy and we ultimately realized that the supports for the shelving were broken so that you could not place any food on them. Our tenants ran the refrigerator for several days and neither the freezer, nor the refrigerator would hold appropriate temperatures. On 5/5/21, we contacted the seller and told him of the initial complaints. He said he would look for new shelving. After our tenants informed us of the temperature issues a few days later, we recontacted the seller to demand a full refund and removal of the refrigerator. $300 was refunded but they refused to refund the delivery fee of $50 or reimburse us for the cost of having Home Depot remove it for $25.
