Sketchy. Sketchy. SKETCHY. My neighbors and I called Sanford Tree services to get a quote for trimming and removing different trees on our properties. When the quote came in it was lower than anyone else with the caveat they would only accept payment from ONE household. The neighbors all had to settle up with one another to receive their service. So if I write my neighbor a bad check my neighbor is liable for the entire neighborhood. Vice versa, if I take on the responsibility of paying and my neighbor writes a bad check I am liable for their tree work. I have never seen a more backwards company. The risk to use their service DOES NOT outweigh the benefit. AVOID SANFORD. Youre less liable handing a tramp an axe and saying have at it. AVOID AVOID AVOID. This company is looking to SCAM all customers. Double dip on payment. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Good morning *****,I wanted to try and reach out to you one more time regardingthe BBB review. When it comes to the estimateand potentially contracting the job I believe there was some miscommunication on our estimators end to you.Currently, our job minimum is $750. The proposal that was written for you and your 2 other neighbors was an attempt on our estimators' end to gain all 3 of you as a customer. Hisattempt included us sending out a crew to do all 3 ( you and your 2 neighbors) jobs all at once for a group rate. Otherwise we wouldhave to do each job at $750 each if all 3 neighbors wanted to scheduleat differenttimes. The biggest confusionand concern on your end was the payment method. We collect checks at the end of each job from each customer. I believe the estimator was just trying to make everything easier on everyone so that there wasn't so many people to collect form at the end of the day and/ or multiple customers for the crew to track down and collect from.In addition, with you not being present for the estimateand able to talk to the estimator yourself this created more confusion. We apologize for any confusion and hope to gain your business in the future.Thank you,
