On June 2nd 2022 I took both of my dogs to be groomed at Josie's place. After getting my dog's home I discovered that both dogs required Veterinary Emergency Care . My chihuahua mix had a huge abscess on her rear end and it was extremely red which I was told by the vet was caused by possibly a hot clipper and her stomach! I also noticed that her vagina area had been nicked apparently by the Clippers! The owner asked me to please send her pictures and when I did she claimed my dog looked like she had a yeast infection on her stomach so I took her back to the Doctor Who dismissed yeast . My poodles ears were so inflamed from plucking hair out of her ears! Both dogs required steroid and antibiotics treatment! I immediately called the owner and she apologized saying she would refund my money because she said they do ear hair plucking in two sessions so that the dogs do not have inflammation and this groomer did it all at once and she even tried to turn around and blame me for pre-existing conditions which the veterinarian denied. Now she will no longer answer messages or calls from me and did not refund my money like she had stated so I have also filed a dispute with my bank. My dogs and I suffered for two weeks due to the neglect of this business and their practices. I have tried to work this out civilly with the owner telling her I would compromise and accept a refund on one of the dogs even though I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars in veterinarian bills and she won't even work with me. She should be a woman of her word. If she accepted responsibility and said she was going to refund me she should have done it instead of whining about being a single mother which I do feel for her but you still injured my dogs and you need to be held accountable. I hated having to file a complaint but I feel I have no choice at this point and she is not providing any type of customer service and I have been nice to her to try to work something out.
