Do not Bank with Vystar Credit Credit Union. I have been a member longer than some of its employees have been alive. Even then I worked with Vystar's "hidden rules". You know the rules that is made up when Vystar makes a mistake or won't admit to misrepresention on their part. In one of my roughest time, the passing of my beloved Sister, leave it to Vystar to compound my mental state by cancelling my credit card, while being 1000 miles away. No, I am a little more responsible than that. O f course I conferred with a Vystar representative of my travel plans of "leaving the area of normal usage" because that was given as a excuse the previous instances when a false action takes place on their ******* also seems like as I was trying to rectify the Problem the representatives were not very informative almost feeling more frustrated the more I pointed out their discrepancies. I tried to get an unsecure personal loan for $13,000. I was told by the Loan Officer that I would be notified within an hour tops. I never received a phone call or text for the reminder of the day with their decision. I left a phone message with the Loan Officer before bank closed. I called and left 2 additional messages the following day with no response. The bank can not be contacted by phone, only the Loan Officers can. I ended up driving to the bank, which is on the other side of town. Once there I was told by the Loan Officer, I was declined. The Loan Officer said my credit was outstanding in the 800's, but because I had a lot of credit cards with zero balances and high credit limits and one unsecure 20 year loan (swimming pool). I was declined.I would like anyone considering doing business with this bank to know what I experienced.

If I could give a zero.. I have a business account through with this bank institution. Initially was a member of ************* and than they merged. I have had a terrible experience being able to set up my online account where I can view statements and pay bills for my platinum credit card. I cannot register as the system is faulty and will not recognize my information. **************** is little to no help, when I can get through to someone. If you're looking for a business account, I have learned, go to a more well known bank.

I had this bank for years and yet now they have been a thorn at my side. They have created issues and security leaks. I had a brand new credit card stolen when I had it for a day. How does a bank allow that to happen? ????? Honestly, just find a new bank like **** or someone else. I had this bank for ********************************************************************************************************* and my family.

On 2/10/2025, I called Vystar to pay off my car loan. I was notified that it was only $532 to pay off. I was then notified that I had a savings account that was in the negative, that I was automatically enrolled in when I used vystar for my loan, and that I would have to pay an additional $5. I went ahead and agreed to this so I could pay off my car. On 2/11, Vystar called me back to verify that my payment went through and my car was paid off and my account would be closed. On 2/14, I checked my bank account and noticed I had an additional charge from Vystar for $533. I called them to ask them why I was being charged when my account was paid and closed. At first they told me there was no payment, which I told them they were wrong and I could see it. Then they placed me on hold for 15 min, then stated it came out because I didn't cancel my auto payment, even though no one told me of this and my accounts been closed. ********************** wrongfully charged me and didn't cancel my auto payments even though I had paid them in full and they told me my account was closed. They then proceeded to tell me that I had two options, to wait 10 days for them to refund me, or I could pay my bank to dispute it. Vystar is wrongfully charging people and not telling people they have to cancel their autopayments.

******** customer service. They make it incredibly difficult to pay, setup automatic payments, etc. They then cancel your automatic payment, charge you more for doing automatic payments (because they want to send you to collections and collect more). HORRIFIC institution who is very obviously employing predatory tactics to receive more money through loans.

Absolutely horrendous. I have never been harassed more in my entire life, than during my mortgage process. Vystar requested proof from my company that I am permitted to work remotely, because I was moving more than a certain distance from my current home. Anyone with half a brain wouldn't automatically accept the first mortgage quote they received, without checking around to see if they could find a better interest rate or better terms. So I sent them a letter from my employer addressed to another lender, clearly stating I am permitted work remotely. Rather than accepting the proof they requested, they fire back at me accusing me of attempting to open two mortgages at once. Anyone with an IQ in double figures would know that would NEVER pass underwriting, nor would it serve any point at all. Why would I need 2 different loans on the same property if 1 loan is more than enough to cover the purchase price? So I had to spend weeks sending in additional documentation to coddle the idiotic mortgage processors at Vystar. This was one of NUMEROUS problems I had to deal with during the loan *********, Vystar has removed the ability to pay mortgages by Magic Touch, and they also removed the ability to pay loans by ********** or Discover credit card. They permitted these features for over 3 years.Their representatives on the phone are incompetent and not trained. I got an updated appraisal to remove the *** on my loan. When I called in to get the escrow account removed, the weasel who answered said she would "look into it." I had to call back multiple times just to reach someone, then days later she leaves me a voicemail stating "You don't have enough equity to have escrow removed." If she was more intelligent than a rock, she would have seen the updated appraisal on my account. While ********************** has competitive rates and good products, they are not worth the cost in headache to deal with these clowns.
