When we received this account from our client 6/30/21 we sent Mr. ****** notification the debt was placed for collections. We have never had any response until today from Mr. ******. The letter he has attached is dated 4/2/25, yesterday. I have attached a copy of his signed agreement and member notes for reference. Mr. ****** does not have a contract with MG Credit, we are the collection agency for *******. Mr. ****** is welcome to contact our office to discuss the matter further. I am sure we can offer him a payment plan or even potentially a discount on his balance.Initial Complaint

We have received many disputes from this consumer. We have in fact provided her a signed agreement as proof of the debt along with the charges and original creditor name. Mrs. ***** has never called us to discuss the account, in she has asked us not to contact her any further in writing in her very first communication. There is not a lot we can do when someone will not communicate with us. Filing complaints and disputes does not make the debt disappear. If we did not have proof of the debt, we would have removed it from her credit already. I have attached a copy of the signed agreement.Initial Complaint

I am not aware of this account. I have reached out to 3 credit bureaus and M.G. Credit **** to have this account removed from my file and they always say the same excuse, which is no longer acceptable. I have filed an FTC complaint because I believed this is an outcome of identity Theft. Regardless of all actions done on my end, there was no action from 3 Bureaus. Thus, I am reaching out to seek assistance to have M.G. Credit **** that I have no account with them and 3 credit bureaus can simply remove it from my credit.Business Response

We have spoken with ****************** several times over the last few years. We have verified with him the information is correct. Our client is ******* Gym and we offered him a settlement to which he agreed. The last time we spoke with ****************** was on November 22 2022, at which time he said, "he forgot about it" and would call back the next day to settle the account. you use my information without authorization, my business was with **** ******* not with MG CREDIT, I paid under misunderstanding if I knew this will cause problems with my credit history, I wouldn’t settled I was under not knowledge that I was paying the incorrect company, I request the removal of the collection from my credit report, if you already got paid, what is the reason of hurting my financial life??

But MG credit hasn’t answer the reason of why they’re keeping the negative mark on my credit report, this is impacting my financial life costing me thousands of dollars more every year, I need them to be accountable and remove that collection from my credit report, since they have also advised that the account is settled.

i have attempted to contact this company for exact questions in regards to this collection. When I called the company had No recognition of this collection I called February 2023. At this point this collection should no longer be on my credit. When I called I asked what the collection was for, and original contract. MG credit could not provide neither.Complaint: 20435699

We are not required to "have a contract" with consumers to collect a debt that they owe. It is in the contract she signed with our client that if she defaulted it would be placed in collections. We spoke with Mrs. ****** 1 time in December 2021. She told the representative she could not pay and refused to make any arrangement. We haven't spoken with her since and she has not requested we send her any proof either. We will be happy to provide proof of her debt and she can contact us to resolve the balance. As you can see she has 2 addresses listed on this complaint. She will need to provide a valid address or email in order for us to provide the contract. We are not going to guess which address is correct.Business Response

This is actually false. We only spoke with Mrs. ****** 1 time and that was on December 27 2021, at which time she told us "she was broke from Christmas', It was agreed that she would call us the first week of January to discuss payment options. We never heard back from her. We attempted to reach her for another 7 months only to be hung up on when anyone answered her phone. As i stated in my previous response, at no time did she request the contract. I have the contract and have attached it to this complaint since she has not provided a valid address yet.
