The best customer service I have seen in several years. The was backed by the superior knowledge of ***** the person that helped me. I had called a couple of other garages that said they could not help me. When I called and talked to ***** listened and then told me to bring it in and he would take a look. In a short time he determined the problem and explained what needed to be done. He fixed the problem in a short period of time for much less than I expected. Everyone at the location was very helpful, attentive and very nice.

Poor experience took my 2017 expedition in because the ** stopped working. They told me there was a $150 diagnostic and would contact me with a quote. They told me a wire was bad and the ports were leaking and needed replaced $1,400 and 2 days later I get my car back and ac blows cold but freezes up and stops working after 2 minutes of running. I called them back and the owner told me he would take a look at it and let me know if it was under warranty or not he calls me and tells me I need an additional $3,300 in repairs. I politely denied the repair and he sent me a bill for $150 for an additional diagnostic. I told him I was not paying that diagnostic since I paid him already to diagnose and repair my ac and it wasnt my fault that he did not thoroughly diagnose my ac. He then waived the charge and told me I could come get my car. (I went to another local shop and they fixed the issue with a $45 part and $500 in labor.) I told him I dont get off work till late to just leave my keys in my car and Ill use the keypad to get in and he agreed to do so. Fast forward to later that night when I show up to pick up my car, he had it locked up in the gate so I couldnt get it. I tried calling him and he said too bad that he just got home and he wasnt going to come unlock the gate. I called *** and they came out and told him he needed to release my car and he said he would do it the next day he denied to the cop that we ever had this conversation moral of the story do not waste your time with this company unless you want to spend 5x the cost of any other company for them to not fix your issues

When this customer first brought his 2017 Expedition to us, he complained that the A/C did not come on / did not work. So, we diagnosed the issue as the wire harness to the pressure transducer was all cut up by someone and was shorting out and not allowing the compressor to come on. We had to repair the wire harness to the pressure transducer connector. It wasn't just a wire, and the location of this part of the harness was below the radiator hose. We had to remove things out of the way to get to the wiring. Once that was repaired, we noticed the compressor was cycling too much checked the pressures, and found they were low. Again, he approved the diagnosis. We found it leaking freon. So, we repaired the leak, evacuated/recharged with the proper amount of freon, ran the *** for an hour, and watched the pressures and the vent temp. and compressor cycle. At that time everything was working as it should. he then came and picked it up.On Monday 3/17/25 he called and stated that his evaporator was freezing up. We told you to bring it in and if it had anything to do with what we did, it would be covered, but if not, he will be charged. he agreed and brought it ***** that point, he knew that if it wasn't something under warranty then he were to pay the diagnosis fees. We found that for some reason your evaporator temp sensor was reading 140 degrees. That is the reason his evaporator was freezing up. We found, when trying to locate a temp sensor, that it is not serviceable, and that he must get the whole HVAC Assembly Box according to ****. We then called him and told him what we found, and he said his ***** cut a hole into your HVAC Box and tried to fix the temp sensor. Later we found out from his wife that he did it and then put duct tape on it. He declined the repair. Then he called up and started yelling that he was not going to pay for a diag. We explained that it was another issue and nothing with what we did or worked on. So, yes he had to pay for the diag. he then decided to start yelling and cussing and trying to tell us what we were going to do. At that point, we ended the phone call.Later, he called back and yes, we waived the diag. However, he never stated when you were coming to pick up your ***. Since we didn't know when you were picking up your ***, we left it in the secure gated area. He showed up around 7 pm (our business hours are 7:30-4 pm Monday - Friday and he knows that) and called and demanded that we come and open so he can get your ***. We told him again about our hours of operation. He proceeded to cuss and tell us that if we don't open for you then you were going to cut the lock and take his ***. We explained that if he did that he would be arrested at that point. He called JSO gave them an incorrect story and tried to have them tell us to open it for him. Like we told them as we told you our business hours, and that we will open up at that time and not before. The following day we decided to charge him the original diagnosis fee. He proceeded to call and cuss and try to tell us what we were going to do. Once he figured out that he did not run our business, he resorted to threatening. At that point, we called ********** showed up and called him, his antics did not work with the officer, and he explained to him how it was going to be. Shortly after that call, his wife called and asked what was going on. We explained to her, and she said that she knew how he was and was very apologetic for his actions. Then she informed us that he cut the hole in your HVAC Box and messed up the temp sensor. Also, in his statement, he claims to have taken your *** to another shop, and had it fixed while it was still here at our shop! That never happened. You posted the review on 3/18 while your wife picked it up on 3/19!We here at Viking Auto take pride in our work and stand behind our work. We do not perform any backyard repairs. If there isn't a part for the repair we will not fix it. We do not want to be responsible for any possible damage that could occur from not using the correct ********, this whole mess is because he messed with his *** not knowing what he's doing, then not knowing how to talk to people. We strive to help, if at all possible, but the customer needs to be polite and courteous with us if they want any kind of help or discounts. Not demanding and presenting themself as being entitled.

Lights and idle were surging/flickering in my car.Brought it in, they wanted $2050 out the door to change my alternator (has **** miles on it), my valve cover gasket (is leaking), and to spray my throttle body with a cleaner.I changed the alternator for $300 and 2 hours of my time. Luckily, Im a mechanically inclined electrician whose just stumped by this electrical gremlin and not a complete moron, and realized it doesn't take 10 hours x $125 an hour to do these simple part swaps. They are charging $125 an hour for labor!!!! My car left the shop after i denied the work order, but not after paying $275 for a diagnostic service that ******** does for absolutely free of charge.

This customer's mother brought the car and we, as with all customers, explained our charges and labor rate. She and her son, over the phone, agreed for the diagnosis fees. We found that the alternator that this customer installed is not doing its job, correctly, there's oil going on it from leaky valve cover gasket. And we need to start with cleaning throttle body to take care of the surge. We texted a quote for the customer, he declined the alternator the valve cover gasket but approved the throttle body cleaning which he declined, later!I don't understand this complain. He's agreeing with all what we found, which he was battling for a long time, but wants not to pay for the service, and it does not work this way.He said that he changed the alternator before and took him 4 hrs to do it, but he doesn't want to pay us 2 hrs that we quoted him!! and said the part store (********) did it for free which I don't understand how could a part place got involved in changing parts! or may be he's talking about the Warranty for the part!
