I have been renting from Oasis of Mandarin since October 2021, with my lease ending October 2022. I paid $1110 a month for rent, which also included renting a garage from the business. I used the garage for storage of furniture. I have two couches that were stored there, which are now covered in mold. I also had an outside storage closet, which started to have mold damage as well. I contacted the office management about the mold in the storage closet and after multiple attempts, they finally said they would send maintenance for the mold in the storage closet. Maintenance did not treat the mold, simply painted over where it was in the storage closet. I also contacted them about the mold on my couches in the garage and was told that I needed to file a claim with insurance for the loss of my couches. I have been denied coverage through my renters insurance. I asked the apartment manager for the contact information of the corporate office and she refused to give any information other than the name of the management company (******** **********) and the owners name(*******).
