This company robo calls me daily, sometime several times a day. The voice message implies I am a customer about to lose a 50% discount if I do not upgrade my service immediately. The call frequency is annoying, frustrating and bordering on harassment. IT MUST STOP! Also, the BBB requires a star rating to send this review. Not a good idea BBB. So the 1-Star rating I left is actually a NEGATIVE 1-Star. The BBB is becoming an *********************** Your service STINKS.

FracTEL - yet another telecommunications company knowingly doing business with scam artists. This time the scammers are pretending to be a breast cancer charity. Please flood FracTEL's sales and customer support **** with calls and let them know how you feel about them supporting East Indian scam artists. They're located in ******* - a place where as long as a business is earning a profit the government doesn't give a ****.

For weeks, me and my family members each receive 1-2 calls per day from a scam operation presenting itself as State Farm. It has previously presented itself as Geico. 6 of the numbers use a local area code and are registered to and managed by FracTEL. The others are spoofed or proxies and not registered to any provider.FracTEL's General and Support number rings then connects to a fake disconnected message.Their response to complaints is wholly unprofessional, often poorly written, sometimes defensive, and entirely dismissive, shifting all blame onto their customers but not detailing which or action against them - not if I would believe them if they claimed they had. We are telling you that your customers are eggregiously breaking the law, and your response is "we can block your number/give our customer a slap on the wrist?" A classy ******************************** apparently cares so much about the scammers paying them for their services that they're willing for their company to take the reputational bullet instead of giving them up and handing them to the law for persecution for the multitudes of TCPA, CCPA, and other regional trade law violations which those "customers" are so clearly committing. Is this really what FracTEL's business has been for the last 17 years? It is time to pursue legal remedies and compell FracTEL to hand it's customers over to the law. All of those of us on the Do Not Call registry are entitled to $500 per call from the offending companies per ****. I have at least 100 in the last month and I recently called each involved number back to confirm it's association and document the incident - I could certainly use $50k right about now, how about you?

We respond to every complaint. We disconnect every customer reported for abuse. We do not have a "fake disconnected message", we have a working contact number with an answering service. There is no helpful information at all in this complaint that would assist in identifying and stopping abusers and this is very frustrating.

It is not a simple problem. Consumer even states that many of these calls come from numbers that do not belong to FracTEL. It is a very easy for callers to set a fake caller ID, and it is quite likely that this is the case. If we had more information, we could investigate and take action if appropriate. Consumers do not understand how the phone network operates, nor do they consider or appreciate the tactics that these bad actors use to obfuscate their identities and actions. We do everything we can but as a common carrier we are constrained. We do our best to be professional in our interactions and we are certainly not dismissive.

If this individual has contacted us previously and reported abuse, then their number was blacklisted on our network and any calls that they received after that are definitely not coming from a FracTEL customer. We are fully aware of **** rules and sanctions and invest significant resources in ensuring that we are compliant. We are a member of ************************ (**********************) and we utilize STIR/SHAKEN identity headers for every single phone call. We have a Robocall Mitigation Plan on file with the *** which can be viewed here:

    *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************

When we receive inquiries from law enforcement we cooperate fully and promptly. Unfortunately, this may be the best way to stop these bad actors. If the purpose of the call is to perpetrate fraud or identity theft, then reporting them to law enforcement is absolutely the correct thing to do.

If the calls are simply unwanted or in violation of Do Not Call, then please file a TCPA complaint.

Here is the link to do so: **************************

Not customer. Not a customer experience. Blaming us for this activity is unwarranted and unfair. We are not the problem.

predatory and need to be stopped. I have my number on the do not call list. This is getting old. They always seem to find a way to slip through the cracks the number was out of **** ******* **********(504) area code I don't answer.

Three calls in the past 24 hours from FracTEL phone numbers in three different area codes and exchanges. None from any other telcos in that period. Either phone scammers are going to a lot of trouble to get spoofed numbers that are all attributable to FracTEL, or FracTEL is selling services to phone scammers.Report all calls in violation of the Do Not Call registry to ************************************* Other telcos have gotten cease and desist letters for dealing with these criminals, and if they know you report violations, those telcos at least will make their customers stop calling you, so they don't face further consequences themselves.

07/22/2024: I received 6 phone calls today traced back to Fractel, LLC. No messages are left. These people are a nuisance and should receive penalties for their unsolicited and bothersome calls.

Spammers and scammers. If you all will quit answering calls from numbers you don't know, this problem will go away.

Every day, I receive multiple spam calls, all of which begin with the area code 551, and the remaining numbers are always different. I quit using my phone often and miss most of the legitimate calls as well because of scandalous companies like this one.
