On April 8, 2023, I purchased a used refurbished golf cart for $5,000 which was advertised as a 2016 cart on ******** Marketplace with new batteries and new tires, and new connector cables. Knowing nothing about golf carts except that the tires and batteries are the most expensive things to replace, I felt I was getting a fair deal. After delivery, the cart battery indicator light was not working and the cart was hesitating when driving it. Also, the connector cables were not new and when I questioned ****** about that, he said it must've been a typo. I called ****** to let him know he had to fix it and after several phone calls that he ignored, he finally answered me and made an appointment to come to get it. He never showed up for the appointment and after a week of ignored phone calls, he finally returned my calls all apologies. He made another appointment to come get the cart but again, never showed up. It turns out that the gas pedal sensor was bad and the indicator light switch was also bad. That cost me $340 to repair. Now the batteries didn't seem to be holding the charge, so it turns out that they were not made in Dec. 2022 as he had told me but in Sept 2020 and they were dying so it's costing me an additional $1,220 to replace them. Finally, the cart is not a 2016 as advertised, it's a ****! So he lied about just about everything and has completely ignored all my calls. The public should be warned about him.
