    April 2022 sold me a car that had been in accident seatbelts are locked air bag deployed I didn't know this at time of purchase

    My name is ******************* from sb auto sales in three years in business we have almost **** customers, unfortunately we cannot make every customer happy. As you can see in the bill of sale this is a cheap vehicle we call it transportation. We take the vehicles to the mechanic to get looked over but this vehicle was an out of state so its a long trip and its not a brand new car. When purchasing the vehicle we explained it was solf as is and they signed the paperwork. Im sorry they feel the way they feel but i will not be refunding any money.

    I purchased a 2013 **** Edge from SB Auto Sales. The owner ***** told me this was a pristine car with no issues. I drove it home an hour away and noticed the brakes started feeling spongey. I called the dealer and told him that I would take it to a mechanic and let him know. The mechanic told me there were several serious issues with the car, so I took the car back to SB Auto Sales and said I wanted a refund. The owner offered to have his mechanic repair the issues. They kept the car for a week and called me saying it was ready. I picked it up and their mechanic told me again there was nothing wrong with the car. I told the owner I would take it to another mechanic to confirm. The second mechanic confirmed what my first mechanic had diagnosed that there are indeed serious issues with this car. The dealer is now avoiding my calls and has told me to just go somewhere else and trade it in.

    I read the complaint and i disagree. When ************** came in to purchase the vehicle the car ran great and there were no problems, she even had her son look over the car as well. As far as repairs we tried to help her out and brought it to ************ where he didnt find any issues. ************* signed our buyers guide stating that the vehicle has no warranty and is sold "AS IS". We do try and make our customers happy unfortunately this wasnt the case.

    Date of purchase. August 20,2022 Amount paid $1200. Plus trade of my dodge caravan. $4000. Purchased a 2012 Chrysler 300 from SB Auto sales in ****** ** .. Was told several times in access that this car is being sold as is ... And that it was in pristine condition.turns out ..the A/C went out the next day.took car to mechanic shop and found out it's gonna cost me over $5000. For the cracked motor and whole new a/c condenser and compressor along with all spark plugs, wires and all the coil packs, also everything was covered in silicone foam to hold the whole engine together ..I am a single mom who now has no vehicle or family to help me. Not only do I want my money back but I also want SB auto sales to pay for the work that has to be fixed on my car and a formal apology from ***** the owner. I'm praying I can get some help as I don't know what to do now. And the need to warn buyers NEVER to purchase any vehicle from them ever again..I am NOT the first person to have this done to me by SB auto sales..but I'm praying I will be the last ..thank you very much...
