Envision sent me a discounted amount to pay back in November if pay before 11/25, I only had to pay ****** as showing on the attachment, I paid it on 11/3 online but now they are billing me the remaining amount. I tried calling them and leaving messages, no one return my call. In January I sent them a letter, no reply no return call, they only send statement. Since no one is acknowledging my various form of contact, I'm reaching out to you. This business does not communicate with the patients.Business Response

Our review of the patients account has resulted in these findings:
Per BCBS the patient was responsible for $156.94 for the date of service 6/23/23. The patient paid $156.94 on 11/5/23.
Per BCBS the patient was responsible for $116.80 for the date of service 10/14/23. The patient paid $116.80 on 1/20/24.
Per BCBS the patient is responsible for $35.49 for the date of service 12/29/23.
There is still an outstanding balance of $35.49 on the patients account.

Account Number: ***** Received ultrasound at ***************** on 9/15/23. Prior, I checked with both radiology department and insurance company that this would be fully covered under insurance. Both responded yes. Now, received bill from Radiology Associates of Hollywood. No idea who this is. Found out, hospital outsourced radiology to this company without telling me. Insurance denied claim as "out of network." Radiology Associates should inform patient they they are not part of Memorial. This is bad practice. I'm also filing a complaint with the hospital itself.Business Response

Radiology Associates of Hollywood **** is not contracted with United Healthcare.
The patient signed paperwork at facility stating that other ancillary providers will be billing the patient as well. If the patient needs copy of this, they can contact the medical records department at the hospital.
The patient is responsible for the balance of $742.05 on account.

I am rejecting this response because:* This matter has been escalated to the *** of Memorial Healthcare; there is an ongoing investigating about what has taken place. I have attached his email.
* This is a violation of the No Suprises Act, by which a patient receives treatment at an in-network facility and is not informed that the service is being down by separate out of network, provider.
* United Healthcare has not finished processing the claim. They are working on an appeal under the No Surprises Act. Radiology of Hollywood needs to wait until United finishes processing before billing.
* Neither Radiology of Hollywood or Memorial Healthcare has produced any such document showing consent that other out of network providers are going to be billing. In fact, Memorial advised the opposite and stated everything was in network.
* The No Suprises Act PROHIBITS waivers for Radiology. If such a waiver was signed, it does not apply in this case and is invalid. Have a look: **********************************************************
* Radiology of Hollywood has a 1* rating ouf of 5* on ******* The complaints are nearly all for deceptive billing practices. There is a pattern here.
* I am looking into opening a complaint against Radiology of Hollywood with the Florida ******************************.

The claim was finally processed as a workmans comp, but was first processed as health insurance claim. I'm trying to collect my co-pay of $926.03, which should be retuened to me since this is workmans comp now. I tried numerous calls and was told it would be returned in 10 days but that came and went. I went into ********************** in **************, ** May 20th 2022 for a bilateral breast MRI with contrast as prescribed by my doctor. Having a history of breast cancer myself as well as a family history I have had yearly MRI's for 9 years. I recently relocated down here to South Florida and went for the first time. After going I was surprised to receive a bill from the Radiology Associates of Hollywood for $567 for this procedure as it was coded incorrectly by them to ********* ******** denied these claims as "routine" and "not medically necessary" as they were coded by Radiology Associates of Hollywood. With that same prescription the hospital was fully reimbursed by ******** as they, the hospital, coded this correctly. I immediately reached out to them and was told that they would look into it. I heard nothing back and I tried again. Now after repeated attempts to get this corrected and and no response I went back to my prescribing doctor for help and she said she would reach out. She contacted them to say it was medically necessary but as of this date nothing was still done. This is now case # *******. I am finished reaching out to theses people to resolve this as they have shown no desire to contact me or my doctor.Business Response
