    This wonderful company gave me a great quote for moving. I accepted them because their price beat every other company by a good margin. I figured during pick up, I might be hit with a hundred or two hundred dollar over charge, but boy was I wrong. Initial quote was roughly ****, but when the lovely movers loaded up the truck, they said I over exceed by 400 cu. ft. [even though this wonderful company had all my items already listed in the quote]. So I paid the difference, which was almost double my initial quote; what am I supposed to do, I need to move ASAP. The driver arrives at drop off in a timely manner, but boy was my furniture damaged. Mind you, I asked the driver if this totaled 900 cu. ft, he said no way. It was closer to 650 cu. ft., and my initial quote was 555 ct. ft. So right off the bat, they dinged me for 250 cu. ft. extra for no reason, because they're thief's and scam artists. It's taken them 1.5 months and still no response regarding reimbursement for my damaged goods. I got a threatening text from a random number which I found out was a worker at the company. Boy is he lucky I don't live anywhere near their headquarters, because I would drive there and wait for him. Definitely stay away from this company, 100% scam artists.

    Following along other issues, my main thing here is how EXTREMELY rude this lady was to me. She talked over me anytime I wanted clarification or for her to let me speak. She consistently told me I was wrong and then hung up on me because she didnt want to argue, because I had caught her in a lie and have the proof of it. She told me the $400 deposit was non-refundable BECAUSE it was sent in an email to cancel within 48hrs. Come to find out BOTH emails she has on file where they had been sending these so called policies were completely incorrect and misspelled. However, she proceeded to disagree. She told me no refund because i opened the email. How can I open something that wasnt sent to MY email. Proceeds to tell me they have a system that allows them to see when a customer opens an email? Ridiculous. I asked if she got a response from the email addresses she emailed, and she goes well no, but it doesnt matter because it showed SOMEONE opened it. She kept telling me, try to call your bank but I have you on recording like it was some sort of threat. I had said this wasnt making sense and she goes it doesnt need to make sense to you. If Im spending $1650 on movers and a $400 deposit, it actually DOES need to make sense. I cant recall when she actually ALLOWED me to speak without her speaking over me. I had them email me proof of the dates of them sending emails, and instead of forwarding it she wanted to copy and paste, what to cover it up, and change it to the correct email? I dont think so. It clearly shows two wrong emails that dont match up to mine. She just kept talking over me. They said since I cancelled after 48 hours I cant get a refund. How was I supposed to know about the 48hrs if the email was going to the WRONG address. I even mentioned them to send emails to the correct one so I could respond proving its the right one. There are genuine people, but others need to learn decency and respect. Dont waste your money.

    The day they picked up my stuff their workers got $2200 worth of money orders wet and destroyed, I had to go through the trouble and extra cost to have them replaced. They called me and asked if they were sending the replacements straight to them and I said no they were coming to me. Since then they have constantly given me the run around about where my stuff is and when it will be delivered. They only give me an update after I already contact them more than once. I feel as though they are trying to hold off delivering my stuff until the replacement money orders are in.

    I do apologize for the delay in your delivery and your experience with World *** Lines. I can assure you that the delivery is in route to you, there was a small mechanical issue with the truck and we had to reroute your items on a new truck, that is the reason for the delay. The delivery is scheduled to arrive Between April *****th. My dispatch manager is also looking into what discounts can be applied to to assist the customer for the wait.

    On October 3, 2022 World *** picked up one room furniture, that include one bedroom set and some boxes, it was set up for $1,295.00 from **, when the driver came to pick up the furniture, on the day of pick up I was told that the price is no longer $1200 I have to pay and extra $1,400 and the driver claimed that he talked to the company, I called World *** Lines around 5 times and talked to a lady name ******* and the only answer I got from her was talk to the driver, the driver came back and ask me for $500.00 that has to be pay in cash or thru Zelle transaction, or he will leave and *** not pick up my furniture, that all happens at the picking up date. I was desperate trying to talk to someone in World *** Line and I didn't get any answer but from the ladys name ******* and the only she keep saying to me was deal with the driver, I ended depositing $500.00 extra thru zelle, at this point I wasnt signing any documents and I was thinking that this payment is toward to my furniture in order to be moving that date, I ended up paying $1,795.00 to move one bedroom's set and a few boxes. After my bedroom's set was in the drivers truck, he came and ask me to sign the pickup documentation where all my furniture was listed and didn't include the $500.00 extra payment, it only have the original price, that looks very odd to me, but the driver said he talked to the company and because I talked to the ladys name ******* and she only said deal with the driver I understood she was aware. On the day of the delivery, 3 WEEKS LATER both of my nightstand was MISSING, my dresser was DAMAGE and my remote control from my bed are missing as well. my 2 nightstand are missing and when asked the driver he was very aggressive and rude and only said call the company and file a complain about your nightstands and remote. Now they are asking me to wait 72 hours in order to see if they can find out where my 2 nightstands are. Worst company EVERRRR!!

    I have reviewed your file and see that we, World van lines did a relocation pick up for **** and ***************************** on October 3rd, 2022.  ***re was only 1 service charge of $75 for the additional stop that was over 20 miles. *** total cost of their move is $1369.92 including the additional $75 fee. I also see that there was 2 nights stands that were not brought on the original delivery, but these items were found and brought back shortly after to the pick-up location as per the customer's request. This customer is now with our customer care department and filing a claim to resolve this matter right away.

    I am rejecting this response because: World *** Lines delivery both of my nightstand in another person house, when they finally find then, it took almost 2 more weeks to delivery back to me, I received a call  at 8:00 am in the morning from the driver of World *** Lines said your nightstand are outside, I thought he was outside of my house in the parking lot for my surprise he was outside in the highway as you can see in the pictures attached,  He intentionally left my nightstand on the highway and leave, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, both nightstand left  in the middle of the street, they are damage and broken, I have to call for help to my neighbors to get the nightstand from the street before a car runover, this is unacceptable and  hasn't  been resolved, costumer services hasn't give me any answers after I summit proof of this mess, I am asking for a full refund of the coast to my nightstand, they are broken and damage, and they were left behind on the middle of the highway  like garbage by World *** driver. This is the worse experience and disrespectful costumer services ever; World *** line should be close down for good.  I am still waiting for an answer from their claim department, and no one wants to take the responsibility of this issue.

    I have reviewed this information with the dispatch department, I do apologize for any misunderstandings. Our 53' Truck was not able to get into the customers location to deliver these items. The driver called the customer to find a new location, they could meet to off load the nightstands in question because the truck wouldn't fit, the customers husband became very aggressive making threats on the phone to the driver. The driver then got as close as he could to the location and alerted the customer with photos and the location of the nightstands. Although this is not our normal procedure our driver was trying to avoid a confrontational situation with this customer who became very irate. Please continue to work with the customer care department to file a claim for any damages.

    World *** lines were very unprofessional with me over the phone.They decided to cancel the service (In the middle of the shipment) because "I was rude" over the phone with them. Because I was very unsatisfied with their service. Not only they are holding my furniture hostage, they are also asking for more money to keep my furniture there in their warehosue. Which does not make sense. If they want to cancel the service, they have to finish the job or give me a full refund. Not blackmail me like this and ask for more money via ZELLE. and the dollar amount seems like it is just made up for them to try and scam me. Please help. See attachment below, is the last email i received from them. They stil have my stuff and they do not want to load them in the truck and ship them to me. Thanks.

    We have reviewed the Consumer complaint filed by ********************* against World *** Lines, regarding issues with his pending delivery to **************. Consumer hired World *** Lines to perform a Long-Distance move from ******* to **************. Shipment was picked up on 9/30/22 as ordered, and World *** Lines performed all services, providing labor,materials, hours, travel time, and loading/unloading. Shipment was placed into World's warehouse pending delivery to SC, within 10 Business Days from his First Available Delivery Date. Thereafter, Consumer began calling our office,being hateful, aggressive, rude, and disparaging. He called the representatives "c*nt", "b*tch" & made other highly inappropriate statements to several of the women who work in our office. At that point, it was decided by our ownership that we would no longer continue to provide service to ************ & we advised him that we were canceling our Bill of Lading/contract with him & that he had 14 days to arrange pick-up of his shipment from our warehouse, as we would not complete delivery to SC. We emailed him advising that we would solely be charging him the fees for the pick-up labor/materials/drive time to warehouse, and warehouse handling fee, in the total sum of $950.00. As he has already paid $1200, he would receive a refund back of $250 once he picks up the shipment & completes the release documents. 

    At this time, given that World *** Lines is a privately held company, we are opting to terminate any/all agreements with *********** due to his abuse of our company employees. We will only retain the fees to cover the costs of the pick-up performed & the warehouse handling fee, and we urge ************ to arrange to pick up his shipment with his own truck/movers from our warehouse within the time frame he was advised of previously. We regret that this became necessary, but we are wholly unable to accept Consumer's horrific abuse of our staff. Please update your records to reflect receipt of this response and close this complaint as Information Only as no monetary compensation is being sought.

    All these statements from this company are wrong. I never used these 2 words ever. They are liars. ******, the manager and owner is a liar. They told my lawyer that I sent these words via email, and when my lawyer asked them to forward the emails where I used these words, they didnt send anything cause this never happened. And i have all the emails to prove it. All I call then was: Unprofessional, Uncertain, Crooks, which is the truth. They are playing the woman card to justify their crooked actions and take advantage to gain more money. They have done that to scam me. Theyve been doing it repeatedly with other customers as well. 
    I challenge them to show proof that I used these words. LIARS.

    It is funny they will use this cheap trick.I work with a lot of women, and I never had any problem with any of them. They are playing a very cheap and dirty game, to deviate the attention from them being scammers, and to justify their action of EXTORTION, asking for more money without competing the service.

     which will only backfire at them eventually. 

    The whole situation is about customer dissatisfaction. Because they were so uncertain and vague. They kept on sending me emails of delaying my pick-up time. So instead of them trying to fix the problem and being more professional and apply MINIMUM CUSTOMER SERVICE. They go ahead and cancel without warning and ask for money with no basis whatsoever.,

    Well yes initially one complaint was their estimate was not even close to being reality estimate was at $1750 ending cost was $7900 but a few other items main being the fact that I was told delivery would be the following day in ************ which would have been July 1 we did not receive our delivery until July 8 my wife and I spent nights on the floor in the apartment with nothing then I was told by my wife because she was the one finishing ** the pick ** in West Palm that they damaged walls offering no apology left items that I clearly stated that I wanted moved to the new address then leaving several items expensive items that I clearly stated I wanted moved but did not happen. On delivery day they arrived and things were moving along I guess it started with when the bigger items started coming off my wall unit which was on wheels and I explain to them it was they then went ahead and broke all of the wheels off of the unit offered no apology offered no records for me to get it repaired delivered my large screen TV couldnt put that back together because they couldnt find the legs to which I found the following day with no mounting screws so Ive had to have replace that which I was told the manager would contact me and possibly have a crew here the following day which never happened and I guess the last thing besides putting items in rooms that I instructed them where to put and they did not do it for example they put the microwave which I believe to you and I belongs in the kitchen they put in the back bedroom but all I heard the last half hour was tips are appreciated tips are not included etc. etc.
