  Good Afternoon,

  I  did this project 2 years ago for the client but She had some personal problems and did not continue with the project. Couple months ago she contacted me to revised the drawings because she was ready to continue with the project.

  The only problems when she decided to continue with the project I was and still really busy with new projects since that was a previous project from 2 years ago I could not say no to her. I revised and submitted the project and we have

  some comments from the city that we are working to resolve and re-submit to have the project approved. it took longer than she expected because again I am really busy at this time.

  The project will be ready to re-submit to the city in 10 days from today.

  I am rejecting this response because:

   

  We do not believe him, we have lost confidence in his word.  He has not been reliable in his commitments to getting this done as per his own timelines given to us and for him to assert that he is busy is unfortunate because he has already been paid for our work which should be priority to finish rather than to provide us the rationale that he is "busy".  

  We have been reaching out to Mr. ***** R ********* since before September 18th of 2024 via texts.  On September 30th, 2024 I met with him in person and I paid him $500 dollars for the updates to the plans which I completely agreed were needed.  He then provided us with dates that he would give us the updates and kept missing his own deadlines.   Mr. ***** R ********* finally provided us the updates and they were submitted for permitting with the city of **********  Once the comments began to appear on the Hollywood website for the information needed for the permits to clear we have been reaching out to him about the updates needed for the permits to clear for the work to begin.   He has held us up since then, promising and not delivering updates.  We also met in person with him on January  9th, 2025 (our **, his son and myself) wherein that meeting Mr. ***** R ********* again committed to providing us the updates the following week by Thursday January 16th, 2025 and once again he did not deliver the updates and pushed it the following week Tuesday January 21st, 2025 at which point he went silent.  Unfortunately, I had to turn to an attorney and we now have that person now engaged in providing us assistance (which he has been paid for) to get a response from ***** R *********.  We are in the process of filing with the court for him to finish the project or refund us the money for the project in it's entirety so we can re-engage another service provider.  We will be seeking the money for the associated permits that will have to be resubmitted incurring new costs for those new permits associated with the new drawings.  The delay has also cost the ** time and money while he has had to wait on the work of Mr. ***** R *********. We will also be seeking attorneys fee reimbursement and monies for the new permit costs as a result of having to take this course of action to get Mr. ***** R ********* to respond.    It's been a nightmare getting him to respond in a timely manner if at all. 

  All we have wanted from him to is to provide the comments the city is requesting so the permits clear so the work can get done.

  Good Afternoon,

  I already email the customer the plans revisions she needed to submit to the city so she can get the permit to start working on the job. Again This is a process that takes time. 

  For now my Job is done. If after the city review the revised plans they still have some new comments or questions we will answer them. This is the process to get

  a building permit from the building department .
