    I rented a car back in January and paid daily for the car.If you do not pay your daily fee AMERIDRIVE will shut off your engine so you can't start the car. It doesn't matter where the car is located they will shut it off in the middle of the road. I paid my daily balance until I fell upon hard times June 1st and they shut off the engine for non payment and told me they will send a recovery team to pick up the vehicle. I agreed because I could not longer afford the daily payment, so I left the keys in the vehicle as instructed and no one has came to pick the vehicle. I call them numerous of times and it's nearly impossible to get in touch with them. When you actually talk to someone they tell me that they don't know why they haven't picked up the vehicle yet,it shows that they will recover it today. Then the operator tells me they will call me back and they never return my call. I'm not able to drive the car to them because AMERIDRIVE shut the engine off. Plus they are charging me everyday for a car I do not use and they promised to pick up. Now they send me a letter in the mail and say they are going to charge me with felony possession of stolen property and I'm not holding the car from them. They are very shady and practicing unfair business procedures. Someone help me. Email *********************

    I have been renting from this company for awhile and every time that I rent a car it either breaks down with mechanic issue, no A.c, or finding weed in car at time of pick up. The listing are very misleading and customer service is none existing. Upon driving multiple vehicles of this company, many cars have just flat out stopped on me in the middle of work losing money and most importantly time. I have been in contact with customers service for some time now thru live chat or calling and can never get a resolution on anything seems like a big scam. They have been withdrawing money out of my account and I dont have vehicle. I have tried multiple times to get a replacement car to no avail. Please help

    I rented a car with this company January 2023. At that time the cost of the rental plus a $99 security deposit was required. I paid all that. I had the car until March 13th when I was informed the car was being sold and I had to return. That was already a inconvenience but it was returned March 13th 2023 in the same condition as when I rented it with a full tank of gas and all. I waited a week and had not received my security deposit back. I called Ameridrive, in which they tried to give me the run around telling me they would look into it and call me back. That seems to be what they said every time. Then they said that my address was needed and they would mail me a check. It is not April 19th 2023 I still have not received my security deposit and again I called and again was told they would call me back and I'm tired of the back and forth. I want my money.

    My booking date from the beginning was supposed to be for 4/14/2023 11:24AM (Friday) to 4/16/2023 11:24AM (Sunday) which is stated in the rental contract. Totaling $163.40 + $100 deposit. Firstly, I noticed that the pickup & drop-off dates changed on the day I was supposed to pick it up (changed to 4/13 to 4/15) & additionally, I noticed the rental contract didn't even show my daily rate, total cost or deposit. I go to pickup the car from their ******** (**) location & ask the employee behind the desk for help w/the pickup & drop-off discrepancy. He tells me that "someone" adjusted it to create a "buffer" for me to add the insurance to my Uber account & it'll be adjusted. I move on with my day thinking this is common practice for them & that it'll be fixed promptly. Nope. The next day (15th) I notice that it says I'm late on my rental. I call their customer support to bring it to their attention and with little to no help the rep said he couldn't change it & towards the end of the conversation rushes me off the phone saying that he would contact me "shortly," on a later call w/a different rep.. turns out "shortly" meant Monday. Later that day (15th) I get charged for an additional day ($81.70). The next day (11/16) I drop-off the car before 1:15pm, before the 2hr grace ****** (car cleaned & fully refueled.), I go through the drop-off process & complete each prompt. I noticed while finalizing the process, it says the fuel level I returned it with was 2/8 (when I refueled it to FULL). And mind you, in the drop-off process, it doesn't ask you to input a fuel level (which I couldn't edit), only to upload a picture of the fuel gauge itself. Later on in the day, I see I'm charged for another additional day. So now I've been charged $163.40 for the 2 unjust "extensions" on my account & would have been charged an additional fuel charge had I not called customer service again. The extension created is still active. So I stand a chance of being charge for a third time.

    I rented a car from Ameridrive for a week the car was in terrible condition and needed a lot of repairs when I took the vehicle back my rental was never ended so its showing that I still havent returned the keys even though I put them back in the orange box I havent been able to speak to anyone in customer service because the call drops everytime I call this is a terrible company I strongly suggest people dont rent from them and HyreCar ends whatever partnership with them. My rental needs to be closed and I should not receive a late fee because I returned the car on time.

    I rented a vehicle which is inoperable and has been in the repair shop for over a week, yet Ameridrive continues to charge me without swapping the vehicle or giving me a credit or refund. The problem is that it is impossible to contact them for a resolution. I've sent emails and waited on the phone for hours only to be disconnected every time. No one will help me at all. There is absolutely no response. I drive for Uber, which is the reason I'm renting the vehicle. It's been 9 days so far that I have been unable to make an income. Please help.

    Spent a crazy amount of money on a rental. AND NOW ARE DOUBLE charging me for tolls. They are two companies working together **** car and ameridrive and neither of them want to claim they are charging and I have bank statements clear as day with their names on it. Them the icing on the cake is I spent astronomical numbers on the rental and have yet to receive my 99$ deposit back. Returned all the rentals back with no issues. Takes two hours everyday to talk to clueless customers service people. The location I picked it up lies and covers up for the companies mismanagement. Its Big sham with a bunch of liars.
