    I contracted to have my driveway paved on February 14 2024, and as of June 24 2024, nobody has been here to even begin the job. The company was given 1900 dollars via check, which was cashed in late February. I have contacted them numerous times and have been given numerous excuses as to why the work has not been done.I no longer trust these people to even complete the job if it ever gets started and would like my money back

    To whom it may concern: As we understand why **************** is upset with the long wait and process, at no time has this been a deliberate action against our client. Our office has been in business for over sixteen years with no prior complaints or issues. 

    We experienced an unforeseen issue with the employee who was handling the clients applications and project, she left our office with no prior notification and left everything undone.  At this moment we are ready to proceed with the client and make sure **************** is satisfied with the end result. 

    We will be contacting **************** today to have client sign city documents as we are now fully staffed. 

    If proof of my statement is needed, I will submit same today before end of business day.

    I am writing this letter asking for the BBB assistance on dealing with *************************** owner of Brick Paver to comply with the warranty to fix the driveway edges and patio after his workers came and dropped concrete and let the surface unfinished. A project that started ON July 22, 2021, for $15.257.0 Attach 2 videos to see how they let me the repair. worse than it was before. Also, to warning the public for not to accept referral for surveys to expend thousands of dollars on obsolete surveys. . ************************* and daring; she and their coworkers no English to process the paperwork making mistakes and waste time and $. I ended doing her job with the ****************** After 2 months asking about a pool when it was a septic tank .They used the pavers and Brickell of my choice, to another projects then 6 weeks more to wait, took 2 years to finish up. After pay the down, everybody disappear ***** email address invaded with malware mails with his name. At that point, I thought I was victim of a scammer, until I went to the police to be able to speak with ****, 2 years of nightmares. I even hired an attorney to pay **** my final payment because he started to count the days to be pay with out, the last inspection. Re do paperwork because the project was writing for $10.000 and I paid $15.257 plus $ ***** on unnecessary surveys. I was subjectively extorted to pay by threaten to put a lien on my property. 6 months after the driveway and patio edges need to be repair as a part of the warranty. I made the call and text 11- 1 *****, ******** replied she doesn't have to do anything. on December 26,I was in ******** when she called me when she has 2 workers at my property without prior authorization from me. ***** ************ called me too, asking me . My neighbor do me the favor. I am back and find out the disastrously repair. CAME TO DESTROY THE PART THAT WAS SUPOSE TO BE REPAIR. THIS REPAIR IS UNCEPTABLE . LOOKS WORSE THAN BEFORE.

    In response to your complaint about the surveys:

    After submitting your permit to the ************* Shores, the city requested an updated survey as well to show the location of the septic tank.  We do not offer the service of providing surveys therefore we informed you to obtain an updated survey that also would reflect the location of the septic tank.  This was needed in order to satisfy the requirements to obtain your permit with the ************* Shores. 

     

    In regards to your pavers, we do not keep inventory of pavers in a warehouse. We deliver directly from the manufacturer to your home. When your paver order is ready, we are notified. If we are not ready to install due to permitting with the city, the manufacturer will not just sit on those pavers, they will sell them and that is beyond our control. This is what happened in your case and we explained this to you in detail. We did not use your pavers for another customer. Your order is specific to your home, to the work we proposed for you. When we received your permit, we put you in queue to have you installed. We have an order to things at our company, we install in the order we receive all proper documents. In order not to keep delaying your job we went ahead and installed the driveway with the chosen pavers and the front porch we offered options that we available at time to installation and you accepted therefore we proceed to do the work.  

     

    I send and receive hundreds of emails daily, if you received an email from me for the first time and it said SPAM that is a normal response from your email carrier since it does not recognize a new sender. There is an allow sender feature that will resolve this issue. There was no need to go to the police because you had received a SPAM email.

     

    Hiring an attorney to submit your final payment was your personal preference but unnecessary. Our contract stated from the beginning how the payment process would be setup and the time frame the final payment would be expected after the work was completed.

     

    ******** spoke to you on the phone when you were in ******** about having the repair done. You informed us we could go to your home and you would have a neighbor supervise and ok the job. Our workers repaired the area and never mentioned anything about any police being there. If the police would have coincidently shown up at the time of the repair and called you they would have asked our workers to leave which also did not happen. They most definitely did NOT go to your home to destroy anything.

     

    Moving forward,  we apologize that the repair was not what you wanted. We are more than happy to come back to your home & redo the area in question.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    RESPOND FOR BBB **** #*******
    I WONDER WHY *************************** RESPONDED TO MDC CONSUMER PROTECTION # ******-2023 ABOUT THE BBB **** *******. I was notified THAT HE NEVER RESPONDED AND THE **** WAS CLOSED. 

    Reasons why FILED CMPLT-******-23 case with the consumer protection.
    I WONDER WHY ************************* FROM ******* SOUNDS Like I WAS DEALING WITH *****************************, OR TAKING HIS SIDE QUESTIONING MY COMPLAINT, TALKING ON ME, ARGUING THAT THE POLICE DO NOT CALL RESIDENTS. THAT I SHOULD HAVE A POLICE REPORT, etc.

    Many argument that it was no writing on my complaint to the MDC consumer affidavit. ******** and **** known how to twist the truth without hesitation, because what I did requested to ******* it was for that  department to send someone to check up the damaged done. I was going to hire another contractor to remove that cement dropped there and re do again professionally.  But what she got today from him is an appointment to send again his workers to do the reparation?... What about IF IS to FINISH damage to the rest of the project?.  **** said that I have to tell them how I want the job to be done. How come I have to do that? Tomorrow I will ask the police, because I have to have a back up for whatever they come an do. 
     
    THEREFORE, I DO NOT ACCEPT DE LIES FROM BRICKER AND PAVER ON RESPOND TO MY **** BECAUSE My complaint is based on facts I have on hand AND I DEMAND TO BE PUBLISHED AND INFORM TO THE AUTHORITIES. Because that is the purpose of the BBB to leave it for people read the reviews. 
    I HAVE THE ORGINALS OF FOUR SURVEYINS NATHALIA MADE ME GET as follows: THE FIRST ONE:  IT WAS UPDATED FROM ************, I paid for. .                     (2) SURVEYS FROM UNITEC. That name was given to me, and I WAS REFERED TO ****** BY *****************************. AFTER 6 ****** REQUESTING THE WARRANTY I MADE THE CALL BACK ON NOV 1, 2022 . BUT she sent the workers to my property without notification, the day after Christmas day,  therefore the police called me, when I was in ****** an now she said that she call me to ******** she never knew about that, but  that based on what I wrote on my BBB complaint. The police e call   must be registered in their records  on 12/16/22. 

    This case needs to be REVIEWED by the BBB because if the case was closed, before, then  why ******** from Brick pavers mail said that their response was sent it on February 16, 2023. I have reasons to perceive there is something wrong or hide for Brick and Paver for not to get bad reviews at the BBB. Like they were many bad reviews and photos before ; exactly on the border and unfinished things, all those have disappeared from the web.

    We responded to the original BBB Complaint and got confirmation from Brea L.

    We received a similar complaint from ************************************* Investigative Analyst ************************* *************). We responded as well and the next day the analyst placed us on a 3-way call to mediate the dispute and to schedule a date for us to go to the repair requested. It was impossible to have a conversation because **************** was screaming and did not allow any mediation to take place. When her allegations were questioned, she became irritated and claimed that analyst was "taking our side". We asked **************** to be present during the repairs so that she could tell the workers exactly what she didn't like so that we could ensure her approval and avoid another repair. She was unhappy with that response as well. 

    We immediately received an email after the phone call stating that **************** was cancelling her appointment for the repairs because she required a police presence while we were there. To date we have never received any request for appointments. 

    We have exhausted all our efforts in trying to resolve this matter.

    BB Complaint: #********  Though it WAS CLOSED WHEN I SUBMITED MY COMPLAIN TO ******* consumer protection due to NOT RESPONSE ON TIME BY BRICK PAVER GROUP. 

    Why Bricker & Paver is responding until now? ON March 15, 2023.  Both cases are currently closed by me. *************** for he public to be AWARE about all what I have described is in my original complaint details and more, it is the truth. Brick Paver group always will be late for whatever responsibility is, in order to blame the customer.      

    AS A CONCLUSION AND CLOSING of this case; I am rejecting this response because; for the records of BBB BRICK PAVER or *************************** DID NOT DO ANY EXHAUSTED EFFORTS OR OFFERED as he claimed in the three way call that we had have with the mediator from the MDC Consumer protection Case #CMPLT-013416-23. 

    As per to their late response: to dispute the cause and effect of our discussion it is NOT A SOLUTION OFFERED.. IT IS AS  A MATTER OF FACT DISRESPECT; to question everything what I said,  as far is my concern is a physiological abuse to a 68 YEARS OLD LADY, alone like me as a victim is considerer and the merchant should be held accountable as an egregious conduct when on purposed damage the borders of the drive way and patio project of my property. 

    Taking into consideration how NAIVE I was then, after the despicable experience from the beginning, I never thought about it,   when I give the authorization to repair the cracks of the borders, despite I was NOT announced and I was far away. I did not know that he was mad at me, I filed this complaint after the facts of the vandalism was done. based ONLY IN OPINIONS, EVERYBODY CONSIDERERED THAT IT WAS DONE IN PURPOSE. 

    As what **** claims about "EXHAUSTED EFFORT'S  OFFERED"  to send me 2 labor WORKERS, and ME to TELL THEM WHAT TO DO ON HOW I WANTED ?. this is an insult to my intelligence.! 

    The same workers who damaged the borders and subject of this complaint.  Come on man!!  ....THAT IT WAS HIS OFFER...REASON WHY; I did a procedure as I WAS ADVISED. THE MEETING WAS CANCELED on March 2, 2023, one day before sent via e-admail to the MDC consumer protection. .

    I AM WILLING TO PAY ANOTHER CONTRACTOR TO COME AN FIX IT .AFTER; I WILL SEND THE **** TO *************************** FOR REFUND. IF HE DOESNT PAY .. OR IF GIVE ME A HARD TIME LIKE ALWAYS HE DOES, I WILL TAKE HIM TO THE ******** THAT IT WAS MY RESPOND FOR BOTH CASES, BUT I WILL DO IN MY TIME .. Lets the judge to decide it for both of us.
