While we understand concerns of the complaint, we are not a repair facility therefore repair issues being the reason for this complaint is not a correct classification.

This bill was for towing, recovery and cleanup of the roadway services that were rendered due to the vehicle fire. We were called out on rotation by Law Enforcement, the rates for this are set by the county not by our facility. I am also unaware of where the owner would have gotten a bill from us for "over $3,000" when on the day this complaint was filed the vehicle had been at our impound lot for 41 days and the bill was at $2211.45 (******* of that total is all accumulated storage fees for the 41 days). The only letter that was sent to the owner in reference to this vehicle was the notice of claim of lien and proposed sale which was sent via Certified Mail as required by Florida Statue. I have attached a copy of this letter which shows the accumulated charges at the time of the letter was $956.00. This letter was sent when the vehicle has been impounded for 8 days. This would have made the bill the day after the accident $716.00 plus any state taxes. Again, these rates for towing, labor storage are all set by the county when we respond to a Law Enforcment call. Also, I have attached a photo of the certified letter that was returned to us.
