Michael ***** the owner of Handyman Hardscape of Central Florida has cheated me out of an estimated $8000 worth of work. He is a smooth talker who claims he is skilled in landscaping. He completed an estimated $6000 work on a $18700 contract. The work he performed is very poor quality. The materials he used were inferior although he said they were of higher quality than are available at **********. Michael ***** was dishonest from the very start. He wrote a very abbreviated contract leaving out details while convincing me in a very friendly way that the entire job as described, will be done. The contract was first signed on May 29, 2021. Today it's March 8, 2022 and it's only about 40% complete. Other contractors say it will take $12,000 to fix the mess he left me with.
Michael ***** and his Vice President are unresponsive to my concerns. Michael lies and misrepresents effortlessly. Over a dozen times, Mr. ***** said he was going to resume work on specific days and never showed up.
Handyman Hardscape of Central Florida needs to go out of business. The owners are dishonest and unreliable. The quality of work is poor. I believe this company looks at every customer as someone they can cheat.
One-Star is the lowest rating I can give, but it should be a negative, knowing that you will loose money and time if you use this crooked company.
