The date of the original transaction was: July 23, 2021. The date of the install was: Dec 13-18, 2021. The install of the windows by Mark Miller Construction located at 3420 Lake Harney Circle, Geneva, FL has been terrible. The company is a sub-contractor to ****'s. I waited six months to get the windows delivered from ****'s and another month until Mark Miller Const. was able to install the windows. First the windows arrived and were not inventoried properly. I notated on the inventory we were missing a bathroom window which was opaque and had safety glass. They sent the wrong window and this company promised to order the correct one and it has never been installed. In bathroom #2, the window was the wrong size so they said they would order another one and then covered it up with moulding, because they did not want to leave it open. They said they would order a new window. Then, two of the windows that were installed, a set (two windows together) were separated by a mull bar that is three inches thick such that no blinds can be hung. They said they would order the correct mull bar and replace it. They did that so they could close the window and leave the job site. In their haste to finish the rest of the job, they broke two of my other window sills. The shoddy workmanship will not be approved by the City of Melbourne when it comes time to close the permit and it appears they could care less. After repeated calls, they will not rectify the situation and claim that it must be done by ****'s. ****'s has been contacted and they are trying to get Mark Miller Construction to do its job, but nearly a year later, I am still working to get the proper installation of my windows. I have uploaded several photos of the windows so you can see the poor quality workmanship. I want the job done correctly so the permit can be closed. The resolution of locking windows is of utmost importance to us as now we are risking the safety of our home and our family.
